Well it was a fine day and early in the morning I was out and just taking things in. There have been so many pictures that I have taken that I really don't thrive on them but today I wanted to capture a very find day.
So aside from other things I headed down to the river. While down there I had asked so many of how to get to the other side as there are some tremendous areas where there is sand dunes and all - but no one seemed to really know how to get to the other side. So that is fine with me.
The weather is nice not too hot nor too cool, actually for this time of the year it is probably near where it usually is. But the morning experiences of the outdoors is something that is tremendous. This river that you see here is the second largest river in Canada.
Thereafter it was cut the grass and get some of those chores done. For myself I won't be going anywhere but I will be just enjoying a "staycation" as mentioned. All going well, perhaps there will be an extended summer that lasts two months more - wishful thinking I suppose, but why not.
I'm all for the wishful thinking! Wishing you a fantastic weekend as well!
ReplyDeleteAnd one for to you as well...
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the staycation! - good one - neat photo Jack really good!
ReplyDeleteAh a staycation is fine by me Keith - and thanks...
ReplyDeleteHi Jack! The river is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest map quest for finding you way across the river, but I don't know if you have that in Canada or not. Even with map quest I have a hard time finding my way around, especially if it's a heavily congested area.
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Oh I know the way but there is only it would take me an hour and I would find it, as I remember it during my university years when we go there but the city has changed but I shall find it! The city has grown so much that the infrastructure is all under construction as there is a need for more lane literally. But where there is a will there is always a way.
ReplyDeleteAs well, Deb a lovely weekend to you.
"where there's a will , there's a way"
ReplyDeletemost certainly!
; )
Always!
ReplyDeleteIt feels peace when sit near the river in the afternoon or early morning like that. My house in Binjai is circled with 3 different rivers. It is a very nice feeling when sit near the river and take something to eat and saw the green trees along the river in the afternoon. I love the moment much! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is...
ReplyDeletenice shot
ReplyDeleteI ALSO TOOK
a picture of a canal that passes behind my mom house
it has been raining a lot in Florida and i am dieing to be back home
We took a walk along a river once and decided we would go home by crossing over at the next bridge, but the next bridge never came. It was exhausting.
ReplyDeleteKatya, I am sure you are and just like a river things all flow...it's good to know that she has faired out well after here surgery. All the best Katya...
ReplyDeleteOk I will say it, it's not something that stops me but with my knees that is truly a problem as I will have thongs on and I will pay a large price DJ in getting too and fro.
ReplyDeleteI know that Picture Perfect had this letter "R" and I did not wish to partake within it this week but I wanted to just enjoy as yesterday was a free time to myself. I do enjoy that tremendously. Who doesn't.
By the way I never knew you were such an accomplished singer!
What I find is that the river flows and in at this time of the year it's a precious time as it will not be here within a couple of months. What draws us to water - I'm not sure, for myself I have always been drawn to it regardless of where I was living.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place! Hope you get your chores completed and can enjoy some rest and relaxation for the remainder of your weekend. Happy September!
ReplyDeleteI did them all yesterday including mowing the lawn so today here it's nice and here it's within the 70s. Which is very nice. But I thought I would go out and take picture but I have to go do the grocery shopping and there after it's one of those days where you just flow with it and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteSeptember seems to be our August up here. But this is fine by me!
Very relaxing...ty for sharing.
