This really has been the strangest summer I have seen in a long time. Today it was so cold!
(How cold was it?)..:)
It was so cold that I left out at midday and dressed up with what one would normally wear for this time of year the only thing is I did not have a warm enough jacket it's was 10c which I believe is 50f. That with the pouring rain and wind only left the option to do things indoors. I headed to a few places but amazing to me I did not realize that the New York Ranger had there training camp going on here.
There was no way getting in as I have before from the back door as it seems that this city has grown so fast that there is security everywhere. Thank god with the practice anyone could go in and watch. I new I had to be back on the other side of town to meet up with my cousin - as she asked me to come bowling. I am not sure about you but the last time I bowled was when I was around 12 years old. But it was fun to say the least.
There were a few other things I had done but by the time I got home it was time to make a change of clothing and have a warm shower.
Gosh it can't be this time of the year yet! I have to find the farmer's almanac! Just yesterday it was so hot it must have something to do with the cycles within our weather cycles. Speaking of cycles, what goes up always has to come down but with weather I think it is within the later part of next month...:)
The probable reason why we there is such a variance within the weather this summer comes from a write from a good friend here online. This one post of here certainly does tell the story in a way.

ReplyDeleteWell I when most all were wearing jackets with hoods and unbrellas and then me without...yeah it was good!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been strange all over, I think. Glad you got to see your cousin and do some bowling!
ReplyDeleteI'm packing to go to northern MI that means clothes for cool cold freezing or could even be warm , never know up there in September, don't even know up there in the summer :-)
ReplyDeleteGoodnight
I won't speak of the rain because we have had our share of it with some down trees and power lines. It feels like fall is already here and one would have to wear a jacket when going outside.
ReplyDeleteGlad you and your cousin had fun today.I watched football most of the evening.Wishing you a great week and take care.
Yeah this was a stay in buildings day, but Caroline from my mother's side is a grand cousin Terri.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your pictures there! :)
Good night Cheryl, I guess Autumn is sooner or later coming.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the rain but such a drastic change in weather aside of the temperature, but so be it. It is what it is. It was a decent day for a Sunday, mind you it's not June, July or August anymore...wishing you a great weekend as well Parrie.
ReplyDeleteWet socks are the worst! :-)
ReplyDeleteDJ, it's a cooler day this morning but yes wet socks are for me I am focused on the end of this month and October as there have been times that it's been very much like summer and around my community here we all are hoping for this. Plus the farmers now need the dry weather so they can take off their crops shortly.
ReplyDeleteAs within this province that I live aside of our natural resources, university it was all and is still agriculturally based.
