Outdoor Bowling with Lance.avi

I knew that this existed on the West side of the city but I never did with this
east sid of the city Lance is a great person and here he was preparing for the fall yet there we many that still wished to play grass bowling.

Lance is an older man that has been here for some time. He was within the war of WW2 but we shall not go there as Vance wished.

Today is hot and I we all are pondering if this is still the season as it very hot.

  4. I have never played the game myself, but I have seen old timers around here in the past that have placed this with a desire that one can't describe. I am not sure of the history of it but it's a game that one old girl friend of many years ago mother had played and here I found this afternoon that there are three within the city.

Looks like much fun but I don't think that the patrons are pleased that things are all shutting down now at this point. I guess we were not prepared for this weather.

  5. They were preparing to for closing up the place and they are going to keep it open for a few more evenings Maggie.
You would never think this would be the situation but I was just strolling around this afternoon and thought I would stop by
as I had never realized there was one on the East side of this city.

At his age I am certain that he can play a good game! I have never met the gent before in my life. Nor lawn bowled.

  6. I love talking to complete strangers. Everyone has a story and a certain charm about them, for the most part. :)

  7. They really do Maggie you have no idea how much and how many times I have edited out things but it's so interesting to share things.
In a good manner, and not constructed but just in a manner from which they just flow along if you know what I mean..which I am sure you do.
Everyone has a charm and a way about them.
That is what makes this world a vary interesting place.

  8. It's amazing what we find when we allow a door or window to be opened for a brief moment as another's light and energy stream in. the reverse holds true as well and can be so rewarding in the simplest of ways. Thank you for sharing this and for reminding me. :)

  10. I worked along with people all my life Doug. You get a jest of how people are and when to or when not too. If you know what I mean...
This was a fine gent and I just will talk with them for a while and thereafter if it works out then it does.
There have been times it's going the other way but my instincts seem to lead me into the right course and that is something I
truly love. And it shows how we all are so similar yet different. I never contrive it...

  12. I didn't see the actual game in your video, but here they play "boules", called "pétanque" in southern France. They have clubs and some are under hangers so they can play all year round.

  13. DJ, it's this is called boules as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowls - interesting and why can't you see the video? I can see the ones have done.

  15. No I had caught them during the time in which they were just preparing to close it up - however the today it went up to 35c. It's probably the hottest day in all of this summer.
