Right now all the fans and air conditioners are on as this is when you keep it cool as today it’s going to be one very hot day to say the least. It usually peaks around 3pm as the daylight hours have taken on a change. I suppose we are getting an Indian summer here in the West.
Just before noon I have some medical things to do. A Pre op prep – which tells me that next week I shall be having this bone marrow thing, which I embrace in getting done. You know what? I hate these medical gowns they give you. If you don’t tie it properly then your behind is showing. You have to laugh, and then comes these skimpy plastic like things they call footwear.
I look forward to this today as it indicates that things are on the move and this is good.
Meanwhile this is going to be one very hot day it could very well be the hottest day of this entire year.
Wow Jack, it's mid September and so hot over there..... And yes I agree about those gowns, what's up with that. I have mooned a few people in those ha ha ha..
ReplyDeleteAll the best for the medicals...
Ha, ha Mia, yeah it's hot and well I may flash a few people but hey they all are medical practitioners all the same.
ReplyDeleteThank you and I can tell ya that I am not prepared for this heat, when we were going into spring I was as it was mild and now after a very different summer to say the least, here we are at our hottest temperatures.
As well, I thank you for the allowance with something I wish to do later on this eve or pending how all works out during the afternoon as I really find that I don't have the tolerance for the heat. I am getting old Mia...:)
wish u all the best for the medical,Jack, and a beautiful thursday for you :) maybe the autumn will comes soon..
ReplyDeleteVery different weather from here where it is cool and windy with some rain. The nuts are starting to fall, seems early for that.
ReplyDeleteMay all go well for you.
Keep cool, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful bone marrow procedure! I always make them give me TWO gowns so I can put one on backwards to cover the caboose!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hate those gowns too!! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks Silvia,
ReplyDeleteI had it done at 11:30 and glad it's over with.
Thanks DJ, it's hot here, very hot and this was a time in which I do desire the best outcome for the date that now is set.
ReplyDeleteAll shall go well, I have never been on hold like this but I am just mellow after all of this.
But I know that this shall pass.
LOL, I had one and it all went well with this pre op, and I do know the date and it's on the 5th or I will get a call to indicate if I am in earlier.
ReplyDeleteSo be it, it's all within a state of mind. Tomorrow I am up and with it. But today I after all of this I am a tad worn out with it all to be completely honest.
Thank you to a very special friend on here.
You do what you have to do as sometimes there is not a choice, but who invented the gowns that tie up from the behind!
ReplyDeleteNot me!

ReplyDeletehahaha! You got me! :)
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing dignified about those gowns. I feel your pain there, Jack. Soon hopefully it will just be a funny memory.
