Getting Things Done

This morning was cold there is no doubt with that and apart of a few thing which I had to address where my eyes. I must say it's been a while since I had my eyes checked and ironically I have to had my second last prescription on my current glasses for the last two years. I came to sense this especially within the night and as well during very bright days. So I went to the optomitrist and come Tuesday or Wednesday I have new glasses. I must say that I am pleased. As seemingly, I am attending to things which I have placed off but now are being done. I know it's not the best time to be doing all of this but then again when is the best time? I have some things which are boring as heck but it really is a must in getting them all done.

I do envy those which can go without glasses as I have wore glasses since I was fifteen. Mind you then one could get buy without or they were not as necessary where as now they are really more of a necessity.

There is something to be said to seeing clearly and along with that I shall mention even on a computer even with my glasses on at time I have found that I have been squinting to see what other peoples' writings. I figured earlier this week that I might as well tend to these things now and not place any more off from here on in. As one can often make up so many reasons as to when they can do something.

I would rather get all of this done and be finished with it.

  1. Now you could see me clearly with your new eye-wear on. That's good. By the way, my affinity with my eyeglasses started when i was in third year hi-school. But the unusual thing about it is that i could type, my mobility is just the same without using it.

  3. I would have never known that the glasses I have are that of not my last perscription but my second last and that now I know why I go cross eyed now and then. :)
But come Wednesday I can see much clearly. I would have never known.

  5. With the computer purchased last year, and my first widescreen monitor,
    in a desktop that is,
once combine the higher resolutions for more photo realistic rendering
with the widescreen vs browsers, have found upon occasion
where the text is exceedingly small, such as 7 or 8 pt....
thank goodness not only for vision correction, but also add-ons and
extensions to our browsers to adjust for this

    Welcome to the clear-sighted Jack

  6. For me, a man wearing glasses adds a charm :)
But wearing glasses nowadays is an option, many pass by a surgery for correcting some imperfection, as myopia.
Have a perfect weekend in your cold! by here is raining and raining. Beijos, dear Jack.

  8. Yes, when I first got reading glasses at 40 it bothered me....now I have adjusted ...I don't know how good I'll be about having to get the prescription kind, but I'm sure that's coming soon.

  9. Got my first glasses as a junior in high school, haven't been without a pair since then. You are so right -- there are some things that appear to NOT have a good time to do them, but they must be done. Once those are out of the way -- such as getting your glasses -- we are much better off.

  10. For now till either Tuesday of Wednesday I am still using the ones which
I have been. But it shall be great to see much more clearly Curt. I never
    realized what I was missing.
Come to think of it for $ 2,000.00 dollars one can have vision completely
corrected and one friend whom works as an Air Traffic Controller had it
done back when he was within his 20's and then it only cost $ 500.00. He
had it done but I am shall go with being a "four eyes". :)

And that shall be welcomed, indeed!

  11. I have no qualms with wearing glasses. Mind you it's interesting when
one says, "you look better with glasses on" now what does that mean
if I don't have them on? Beijos as I am just joking. :)

  12. Don't you know. I have had an orbital fracture on my left eye as well as I nearly lost my left eye
due to a cat - I kid you not. I was over visiting my folks a few years ago and the cat took a swipe
at me and within 24 hours I was seeing an opthomologist. I guess there is something to this term
"cat scratch fever". But yesterday, it did occur to me that it's time to start taking good care
areas Julie. Hey you don't wear glasses! ( I never thought about that ).

  13. Douglas I am short sided, and back as a teen I had glasses. But over the last five years I have seen where they are more important and necessary than before this. So I am accustomed to them but never have been as "needy" in lack of words for the lenses. When I was younger I thought of contacts but apparently my eyes dry up to fast or back then that is what they told me. Yet I am looking forward to these new two pair.
It would be so nice to have perfect genes - yet we do the best with what we have.

  14. Same here, I have not been without a pair since then. I never realized Grammy how much sight had changed since just two years ago but to see and to have that clarity is pinnacle as you mentioned here.

  15. I need to make an appointment with my eye doctor too. Been 2 years, and since I have the insurance, might as well go. Could you be a candidate for lasik surgery Jack? Or do you prefer wearing glasses?

  16. I prefer glasses I have never even gave it a thought Tess.
The manner that I see it is that you are given what you got and 2 grand is not within my ball park.
