A Part of My Day

This morning I was up early and grabbed the paper as it's delivered around 5am. And there is so much that goes on. I love the morning paper with a cup of coffee. There is always this Thought of the Day, that they have here and then you go through all the news and man there is so much going on. I don't think there is anything new we have come to be a handkerchief society when it comes to the news.

Seemingly the only thing are the cartoons that have any appeal any more combined with subjects that we always do read. We all have ideals don't get me wrong but I like the good things that are happening. There is so many things that I really don't care about anymore. Yet I called this friend of mine and I had on my recorder a call from him as tomorrow he will call and he (Greg) said that he and his wife Leona, will be coming next week hopefully Greg was a very good friend, when I came back to Canada he had his youngest with cancer and he said he would never return here but he went on to be a minister within Parliament. Before that he bought out his father's garbage business within a town called Yorkton and he and his brother came into there gold. But this time of the year Greg always does something with regards to cancer and when I logged on this morning I was amazed that he was on Utube. How things have changed. I do look forward to getting together with him and his wife when they come here to visit. This below is Greg lets see if I can place it on here he is the MLA for a town called Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It's a town of about 15,000 thousand people - but ironically is the largest trading area per capita in all of Canada. Go figure. However he was not one that has a great education, but he literally broke the boundaries and really obtained a goal of his. This is truly authentic - the Utube that is and it amazes me the technology that is out there now. Greg didn't come from a rich family, I think that is what make him so humble. He is a member of Parliament but at the same time he is a very humble on as it came by way of his roots. So things are shaping up and despite this is a Utube it literally blew me away this morning to see him as he certainly never wore suits before but that is alright. Jim, has yet to call but for a friday I can't complain as things have been going very well.

This is Greg and to be honest I dated his sister and when I left Yorkton, I have never been back there in twenty years. This is obviously a utube that was broad casted for this time of the year and I was amazed that I found him on it.

  4. Yeah Sharon it is, I have not seen him in two years literally. And as well it's getting close to that time of the year. This was obviously
a production that will be televised in Yorkton.

It's nearing that time of the year Sharon.

  6. Many might think this is a hoax but it's really one of a few that I have kept as friends over the years. I never within my life thought he would get to where he is at but he is truly a decent one as well as his wife. Amazing this Utube is as I would have never thought that he would be on it but ironically he is.

  7. I spent some of my day out front trimming the bushes before winter. Last year they were beaten up pretty bad by the snow and I have been trying to reshape them. My daughters boyfriend is coming to stay with us for a week in the middle of December and I was thinking I should decorate. He celebrates Christmas so I was thinking of putting some lights out. I do have these inflatable things that I can plug in on the deck as well.

  8. This is what makes the internet so amazing! People who haven't seen each other, and/or who have lost touch with one another, are reconnecting via the internet every single day. The power of the world wide web!! :)

  18. He has one?

Here is where I really don't hear it Nancy, but within each country there are different accents.
While heading to the mall today and taking my father out from 5am till now I have literally "went there
and back to see how far it is" lol as that is how it feels as I think I am going to just take a good night
nap and I look forward to reading others rights tonight - Christmas is just nearly 4 weeks away.
    Amazing where time does go!

  19. It's a very mild accent. Stop that now!!! I don't want to think about Christmas...

  20. I shall :)

Yeah I don't really think all that much about Christmas but within the malls today everything is up and I tend to like an uncommercialized Christmas.
But hey that is just me.

  22. I don't care for a commercialized Christmas, either. I do enjoy the presents, and the lights, but for our family it's all about Christ, and that's what we wish to focus on most, not all the trappings that the world says is so important.

  23. Likewise here I love it but I don't I think it's come to be a commercialize haven. Where so often the real meaning of it all is so often forgotten.
