Ohhh I have both but I do prefer to use my laptop, I sit all comfy and cosy in my big armchair and tip tap on the keys till my heart is content! hope you have had a wonderful Sunday Jack.
Hey Karen, I am on it right now and it's really all to fun - I have not used it in two years and I love it when blogging. As well I hope your asthma is alright and I have had a most enjoyable day, and it's nearing my anniversary since being in the hospital so I have come a ways in an incremental manner. as I can :)
I got rid of my desktop. It was a useless boat anchor. Because I am taking pictures, downloading them and writing. That I can do anywhere with my laptop. I don't have to come home and be chained to a desk. If I'm working on my book I may hike out 2 or 3 miles to get away from the sounds of civilization and pull up a rock or tree trunk. I find desk tops chain you to a location and for many writers is the main cause of writers block. The same walls become very boring.
The laptop seems to be more personal in a way! maybe it is the closeness to the keys and screen or maybe its the ease you can type, I know I love it, glad you are having fun. Its great to see you getting back to your normal form, I knew you would, you have a strength and determination, keep up the good work my friend.
I still do enjoy the desktop but this is all to great and it will be a while before I take a any computer with me. However, I do enjoy each for it's own benefits. Right now Saskatchewan is kicking Quebec's behind in the Grey Cup :) Yes!
I like the abilty to do both. But what I find is that a this laptop is really something of ease were I can just take it all over. And what facinates me with it is there is this radar thing in which shows all the computers that are on within a distance of nearly a mile when I am based out of home and man there are people online!
I much prefer the stability of my desktop, but I like the portability of my laptop. One thing I don't like about my laptop, which I am using now, is that I have to keep back-spacing to correct my mistakes!
Ditto here this morning Toni, I am apt to make mistake but I would rather be able to have that morning manner where I can just move around and get things done as I leave my mainframe running.
Desktop, much better for my hands and wrists.

I don't have a laptop so this is it lol desk top
ReplyDeleteYeah I had to close up my laptop as it was the batteries needed to be recharged.
ReplyDeleteI prefer a desktop, the keyboard has much more room. The only time I use a laptop is when we are on the road for an extended trip.

ReplyDeleteI only have a desktop, so that is my preferred method. Besides I have a nice huge screen on my desk and I don't think I would want a laptop this big!
ReplyDeleteDon't like laptops very much.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan, I love this laptop but what I will have to have checked is the batteries as they seemingly run down within too short of a time.
ReplyDeleteI didn't till recent DJ.
ReplyDeleteDesktop.
ReplyDeleteLove my desktop, have a mini laptop for traveling for emails and messaging, etc. Wish I had a regular laptop but I think I am pretty well set.
ReplyDeleteI prefer laptops because of the portability of being able to use it in different rooms throughout my house.
