A good day here and I am not sure about you but I certainly look forward to the days in just a little while becoming longer. Yes we are within November but before you know it - it shall be a new year. Time it's a funny thing on how fast it passes by but at the same time it's something that is all apart of nature. Thanks all by the way. I remember those ordinary things and what makes life so precious. Perhaps it's all within the ordinary that makes way to the meaning of what we embark on. Those small simple things that do make way to a fond enjoyment of what life is rather that what life isn’t.
And when we have those times in which things are in a manner of neutrality perhaps that is where we find the best and up most of our own human spirit. The eves are silent mind you the spirits of many are full of ideas and thoughts. It’s all within our natural manner of just being.
Yeah...
Those simple things are what makes life worthliving for, the big things were bonuses. I t is still the small things that makes us truly smile ... a genuine smile that comes from the heart. Good morning from here Jack :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning over there Maritess and yes those simple things are!
ReplyDelete:) please
ReplyDeleteI was thinking today that the days were getting shorter. I hate the time of darkness. I go to work and it is dark and when I come home it is dark again. I am inside during light and it is so depressing. I too look forward to longer days and then sun.
ReplyDeleteYeah for a two more weeks maybe a little more it shall get darker and then..................it changes :)
ReplyDeleteI don't look forward to it.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a change of seasons . Today was brisk, cool and breezy. The trees have lost a lot of leafs. Soon the cold of winter and yet somehow there is still warmth, fireplaces, baking, sitting under a warm blanket and reading..NOT my favorite time of year though but there is still good. Not looking forward to warming the car on early mornings and sometimes shoveling snow lol
ReplyDeleteAccentuate the positive.
ReplyDeleteWe are having hot days this week, which I love, tis weird that the coldest month in San Diego, is next month.
Nor mine but it warmed up here and well it's a change for now and a rather good one.
ReplyDeleteNever been there Summer but lets trade :)
ReplyDeleteNO chance Jack! ;-) This is the coolest I am going for the last 30 years of my life. Desert here I come! Well in 10 years or so...
ReplyDeleteIt's all good, I have never been there but saw plans of the making of what is Hortons Plaza way back from some old mentors of mine.
ReplyDeleteYep, it is, you make the best of what you got!
ReplyDeleteI did take my Aussie friend to Horton Plaza last November, she shopped til I dropped! Tis a nice mall.
A man by the name of Arne Hansen now passed played a significant role in build it along with a few others from Calgary Alberta.
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteYour sounding in much better spirits today Jack. I'm happy to hear that :)
ReplyDeleteglad you have a great day, hugs, take care
ReplyDelete~smile~ .... yes ... although we too are plunged into darkness at a much earlier hour now, and like you, knowing that those bright morning dawn's are just around the corner makes these hours all the more special ....
ReplyDeleteEach day is a new day which flows from the soul .... so I guess its best to just embrace each one with new hope and wonder.
Happy to see that your positives shining through again Jack ..... Have a beautiful day ...... ~hug~
I had a really good day although some would say the weather was awful--gray and drizzly, but perfect for seeing an art exhibit.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the colours, the change of scenery with the season and the rest.
I love the simple things in life,,, like rain, the smell of coffee, playing with my dog, and I love that the days are shorter now!! I love this time of year : )
ReplyDeleteGoodnight have a nice weekend I hope
