A Sweet Melody by way of there Vantages
Perhaps there is a melody with the array of pictures of today and yesterday, a mixture of now and within the past. It’s that time of the year one does look at things within a variety.
An array by way of the minds eye. Some are of as recent as today while I did my walk and stopped over at a church here after as it was just ending while I walked in. Seemingly they all seemed very happy especially the old people. It’s not within faith it’s within life. I was merely walking my walk while at the same time the sun did shine. Yes Sunday it is and I looked back within several of my pictures and thought I would place in what render space with some regards to some of the places I have been here and else where.

ReplyDeleteA winter sky ....
ReplyDeleteYeah Rosie, back when I was in Montreal last Spring and it was snowing within May.
ReplyDeleteMost thought that this was done by way of some photo program and no
ReplyDeleteit's a place here called Beaver Creek and within the winter they give you
seeds and this chikadees just will come right to your hand.
This was taken years ago here during the month Autumn
ReplyDeleteYeah taken today while on my stroll Kim.
ReplyDeleteIt's in Edmonton, Alberta
ReplyDeleteTaken this morning I was up at 5am and thereafter just got on with things which included a finality right now. I need a photo editor badly!
ReplyDeleteLynne, this is a cathedral here that is called the --- I forget the name
ReplyDeleteright now but there is another that is in Chicago that was built at the
same time. It's a place that literally really got me going within pictures.
This is a trek back to the past but I can see that there are some that are
missing within here as I let them all load and some didn't "flow" in.
Architecture of churches, chapels and spaces are just something that
has always had some substance. yeah.
He was smiling but he was wonder where the heck he was! :)
ReplyDeletewonderful pics; good to see you getting out and about!
ReplyDeleteI have Arielle for 8 days now.
ReplyDelete"In wisdom gathered over time I have found that every experience is a form of exploration." ~ Ansel Adams"
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Now I'll look at the pictures so far as time allows me!
... showing us there is One Almighty up there. A lovely sight during dark nights.
ReplyDelete... cute ... lovely
ReplyDeleteYou photographed this? It's quite beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWas this after the blizzard? The snow clumped trees are lovely, and the deep blue shadow.
ReplyDeletewhat a silly gentleman eh ... you looked so innocent here as if looking for something. Great. Loved it
ReplyDeleteoh you looked gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteYou're obviously a professional photographer.
ReplyDeleteMy fave season :)
ReplyDeleteI especially love the stained glass. There's a basilica in Mexico of which I have fond memories. It's in San Miguel, but I have no pictures. I'm a total failure when it comes to taking photographs.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who once lived across the street from the Grace Cathedral and often went there. She went to organ performances, and also alone to light the little blue candles. I believe she was once a contact of yours.
the arch, the smoke of winter and the gray-white wintry feel is just lovely ... there is some feeling of warmth here. Great shot
ReplyDeleteHe has a marvelous face~~
ReplyDeleteA sacred place
ReplyDeleteVery appealing!
ReplyDeleteDynamic is what it is.
ReplyDeleteThe friend I mentioned wrote a poem about the "Book." It's a dedication in the published book "Journey to Evensong." Her painting "Vicar to Evensong" also graces the cover~~a painting she had done many years before the book. Interesting how they came together..
ReplyDeleteLoved the rustic appeal of this photo ... and every inch a fine gentleman
ReplyDeleteThis diagonal is also very dynamic. I love the Gothic arches.
ReplyDeletethose angelous looked ... yep, peace and love and harmony. Cool
ReplyDeleteI know that bridge, but can't remember the name of it.
ReplyDeleteI love that photo!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could comment on every one, but alas, I shall have to leave now.
ReplyDeleteWow a beautiful place there.
ReplyDeletethose different stare amazes me no ends ... life.
ReplyDeleteHahaha how'd you do that? That bird is definitely not a chicken! lol
ReplyDeletewow thats cooooooooool!!
ReplyDeleteAre you a priest? There are some inside photos there. lol
ReplyDeleteThis is cool!
ReplyDeleteThe moon never ceases to amaze me. This is an awesome photo.
ReplyDeleteThere's a little part in downtown St. Paul, MN where they have an ice sculpture contest during the Winter Carnival. Always fun to watch the artists.
ReplyDeletePipe organs send shivers up the spine.
ReplyDeleteWhat is inside?
ReplyDeleteDo you have a story to go with this?
ReplyDeleteI like this perspective.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure! We feed the birds here, primarily chickadees, and it takes a while for them to get used to us standing nearby, and then if we have enough patience, we can get them to land on our hands for seeds, but as I've said, we need lots of patience.
ReplyDeleteThe trees are pointing "this way", no "that way", no....
ReplyDeleteThere's quite a variety of shapes and colors here.
ReplyDeleteHow many Canadians does it take to change a light bulb?
ReplyDeleteA great white north style of pyramid, eh?
ReplyDeleteWho is this masked person??
ReplyDeletePeek a boo, I see you!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many wonderful sky shots in the early morning!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a fence line along one of our smaller highways in which each fence post had a boot turned upside down on top of it along a pasture. A couple years earlier each fence post had a bowling ball stuck on it.
ReplyDeleteHot chocolate, tea?
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about all your scenic indoor shots is that they are slices of daily life (which you already knew), but will be very neat to look at 20-30 years from now, especially if places have changed.
ReplyDeleteThe little girl on the left fell asleep waiting for you to push the button :P
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCan I have my summer back, please?
ReplyDeleteWithin the winter they have a observatory and three staff. And the first thing they as before you take this trail is if you would like some seeds.
ReplyDeleteAnd within the winter they literally just come to your hand. Often many thought I had some program that I could place images and make something
up but this was something even I was surprised as I have never had that happen before.
Sig any time as our paths have crossed several times within our writes.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a full one tonight. This was sent to me by way of a friend.
ReplyDeleteNo just an ordinary weekend in January.
ReplyDeleteOne if he keeps his gloves on while the house is cold and being built!
ReplyDeleteThis was in Edmonton.
That was a porter where I was staying. Big chap!
ReplyDeleteYeah and the person on the other end was not all that keen as I was taking up too
ReplyDeletemuch time. But it was fun other than the consequences afterwards!
Sig I saw him today, I have a video and I declined to place it on
ReplyDeleteas started to get a tad perturbed as I was filming one playing the
piano in there.
I really am not. I don't have these huge cameras
ReplyDeletebut it's a hobby I have loved for years.
It's your favorite? :)
ReplyDeleteBefore you know it this old guy shall be flying all over as like every year.
Was in the Botanical Gardens in Quebec.
ReplyDeleteYeah, if you remember Eddy Murphy and Dan Ackroyd in "Trading Places".
ReplyDeleteI was having fun downtown in NY. It's an old early 90's movie.
Green and waters of Blue
ReplyDeleteI love the summer.
Coffee actually :)
ReplyDeleteVery much so Faye I have never done a back up and really things do change there are stages within our
ReplyDeletelives and as John Lennon said, "there are places I remember, but some are gone and some remain".
What a gorgeous shot Jack!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so neat!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect!
ReplyDeleteIce sculptures never cease to amaze me.

ReplyDeleteGreat angel Jack!
ReplyDeleteI love those Gothic arches.
ReplyDeleteHiya Jack!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks so mystical.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, I so enjoyed pictures within churches ironically. It was due history, the architecture and I am no pro, but I
ReplyDeleteliterally would meet some very interesting people just in taking the weekend and making a list of a few places that I wished
to go. I don't know if you know whom Wayne Gretzky is the hockey icon. But he was married right within this church
which is in Edmonton, Alberta.
There actually was a wedding taking place when I was afforded the opportunity to take this picture.
Quite an array of pictures, but fascinating, as always. Thank you for sharing, Jack! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah it's an array. I just got in here and shall be over :)
ReplyDeleteLooks much different in my little town :) Cities look pretty at night
