One day you'll look to see I've gone
For tomorrow may rain,
so I'll follow the sun
Some day you'll know I was the one
But tomorrow may rain,
so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come
and, my love, I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain,
so I'll follow the sun
But tomorrow may rain,
so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come
and, my love, I must go
And though I lose a friend
In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone
But tomorrow may rain,
so I'll follow the sun
great words , hug Rosiex

ReplyDeletegood morning!
ReplyDelete.ah that is a lovely song thanks.x!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked that song, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeletehe always makes me smile. i love his youthful personality...even that he's getting older now. love how he's broken the generations gap. so sweet to see young and old couples alike leaning in towards each other and singing along. beautiful--thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteHe has always wrote about very simple things. It was a reflex last night as I thought I would place him on as he has broken the generation gaps, I don't know whom really does not know whom the Beatles. There are only two left but Paul seems to expand from what the beatles were even at the age that he is.
ReplyDeleteI myself was raised around the beatles as my older brother is a collector of them and well I guess when you have heard them since you were a kid - I found that my own tastes were with the Beatles and the likes. There are countless songs that I am sure that we all know and can sing along with. That says something!
Songs by the Beatles will always be popular; their music just makes you feel good!! :) Great choice, Jack, thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteYour most welcome Maryann...I couldn't resist :)
ReplyDeleteA good eve to you dang I forget your first name!
ReplyDeleteCaroline he seems to write his lyrics as a commoner, everyone seemingly can relate with him that to me is Sir Paul....:)
ReplyDeleteYeah I now and then I will throw one on. And with the weather the way it's been I then there is that great song, "Here Comes the Sun"...still waiting for it as it's been rather cool and drizzling here. But music makes the world go around.
ReplyDeleteHe is quite irreplaceable is Sir Paul. Nobody wrote that many songs that make so many everybody happy--not in the English language for damn sure. Thanks Jack!
ReplyDeleteDoug I think the Beatles and Paul's lyrics at some point will be studied within university, if not already.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're right.
ReplyDeleteLoved singing along such fun !!!
