While a Haze of Smoke Covers the Sun within August

All one could see was the haze. We have been warned already with regards to the amount of ash clouds that have come our way as just as just a few days ago, British Columbia’s forest fires clouded their air and then started to move eastwards. Not typical if you ask me. But it was expected. I have never seen it where fires from so far away have been taken by the jet stream and have been able to come this far. I spoke to my brother in Edmonton last night and he is on his inhaler. Edmonton was hit very hard but then again Alberta is right next to these fires.

This has been a very different year. One of an seemingly, a extraordinary time of weather yet we can look at the last two years and say it has been very rare. No one has control over their weather. One just takes it as it comes, but yet there is the very good possibility that this shall all be gone. As an Indian summer could very well happen. You never can predict the weather but hope at this time of the year that the Indian that represents this year lived a long life.

Yet there is rain, there is the cool to the warm and the unknown of what this very next month shall bring. Yet you can hear the birds, it’s too early for migration so we shall allow nature to take its very own course.

  3. I know I have read all about it, who would figure this would have taken place Ken. We do have a smoke haze that came over last night. But nothing like where you are there in B.C.

  6. It's how mother nature's treating us back, and, yep, we should put our acts together before it becomes too late

  7. These are beautiful Photographs, So peaceful and you have captured some great angles.
The Volcano and subsequent ash cloud have been causing havoc wind direction and thermal currents, who knows what is to follow!

When Mother Nature decides to get her revenge, watch out eh. Have to admit there is some upside to this ash, The Sunsets are wonderful.

    Have a stunning weekend.

  9. DJ, nature seeming is that indicator of something in some manner. It cleared today and now we are just looking at some overnight rain.

  10. There is no controlling her, and despite all that is said with what we do to illuminate some things. I think she works within her own manner. Very unpredictable yet it's that way we have existed for.....

I met up with some relatives and with one in particular it was a blast.

However, on weather it would be nice to be able to predict it :)

A great weekend to you as well Karyn.
