Thank you Milli for the picture - the picture literally was one that I knew that I could write a poem with.
An Inseparable Bond
With all the experiences of life in front of them
Nothing but unique
Growing up within the same family
Born within the very same day
The positions they do share
One may go in one direction
While the other fancies another
Yet how unique it is
As there shall always be that bond
Their closeness brings about a potential
Within both of them
During there youth
As well as during their futures
Which lay all in front of them
Possibilities and situations
Shall always come
Much like a thread
There will be an inseparable manner
Within each and everyday
From today and onto the future
While still at a very young stage
One whispers to another
With just a murmur and a giggle
For there is a bond
Within the future
Regardless of where life leads
The will always have and inseparable bond
For now they enjoy the uniqueness
Within their child like ways
Yet the world does await them
But inseparable they shall be
Regardless of where they are
Or where they will be

i loved this picture when i saw it in PP......it was a favorite of mine.....so very precious....
ReplyDeleteYeah with the allowance from Milli, I had this sitting within my inbox for some time..Tess as it literally was something I wanted to get back to writing some poetry now and then. The picture really inspired me and brought about the write/poem.
ReplyDeletei wish i could wear a dress like that.... haha
ReplyDeletewonderful post
ReplyDeleteThanks Tee, it's been a while since I have wrote poetry but I this picture truly inspired the write.
ReplyDeleteIt's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and your poem, written eloquently, no matter how many words, is perfect for this picture.... well done, Jack!
ReplyDeleteThanks much Tina, I have known the owner of the picture for several years and I had it just sitting there, but I will just look at it and then I will just start writing and it's much like lyrical content, but it's not something that just comes with ease. Some can just write yet from myself I will look several times at a picture and then do three different drafts and then finally feel good with it...even a word just one can render a write and it's been a while since I have done this. It's much easier I find to strum something and as I am more used to lyricals with music.
ReplyDeleteThe key here was "the bond"..:)
I have enjoyed your Poem to my photo Jack and am honoured that you felt inspired to write your thoughts and feelings about the photo and it's subject matter.
ReplyDeleteThese little darlings certainly do share a bond. They are cousins close in age, who can only be together a few times a year.
One lives at the bottom of Australia and the other lives at the top end of Australia.
However the bond they both share together is tight and special.
You have captured the essence of the photo very well indeed.
Oh and you knew nothing about this photo at all. I had not told you anything personal about it.
Although, you have summed it up especially well Jack. Thank You.
The friendship that we have whether for friends, lovers or next of kins is the "bond" that holds through not even distance could separate Jack ... :)
ReplyDeleteTruly a very meaningful poem that gives meaning as to how importance bonding is to a relationship to become it as solid as a rock. Beautiful!
good morning :)
.such a lovely photo...and a moving poem ..thankyou ,,jack:) xx
ReplyDeleteYour most welcome Milli......or I should say thank you.
ReplyDeleteI didnt realize anything but the picture. But thank you as I did it and I loved the enjoyment of writing it. So as you know I waited for a long while but finally
I could render something...thanks for the pick, and these are the words and poem that came to mind.
Big hugs there!
A good morning Maritess.
ReplyDeleteWell I am going to visit some other pages today it's much to damp and wet, and it might just be one of those
ReplyDeletedays to relax and read and so forth. The weather very cool and well it's going to rain but thanks. Mills had a
picture that was worth many words either within pros or within poetry.
I really love this Jack! You have a way with words.
ReplyDeleteThanks yet everyone does it's the way I feel Cath.
