The middle of the day Thursday while at the Airport

Most often I will write something and there is not one time that I don’t acknowledge those that are friends. As many of you know I came here yes within Canada but who cares really where one resided. Some are very sensitive to this and then there are those that are just easy going…easy going – I like that, I am sure there are other that do as well. This hopefully is the last hot day here in Montreal. I guess I used to be used to the humidity earlier – yet it’s funny how (I will say it) the drastic wet hot is something that I have not built up a resistance too. From being raised in eastern United States and then predominantly living west………this is a different heat. Much different now I do know how and why General Electric makes so much money on just their air conditioning department.  Just getting in, and shortly heading again downtown or where ever I am taken. All I know is take water and buy water.

Why do I feel like a fish? J

Funny how heat can feel so different in places.

Reminds me of that old western song--Cool Water...........cool clear water.........

The humidity can be hard to get used to. It's not too bad here in Indiana but we have our days. When I first moved here from Marquette Michigan the summer was hard to get used to being hot more often and sometimes so humid.

I offered to trade houses with my son Justin so I can swim everyday but he refused LOL
    Best wishes

  9. It's stay indoors weather in my neck of the woods ... that is if you have air conditioning. We're broiling in a relentless heatwave situation here in the Northeast.

  13. I didn't get the chance to do a night cap last night as it was incredible hot after coming home from two areas here within Montreal. Oh Cheryl to just have it back to a nice normal as this winter I am not going to complain. The good things about this weather is that with people do get out to places especially where there is air conditioning....Hot is one thing humid ....it's another I find that I will wake up at 4:30am here every morning and the first thing is a cold shower.....and then another....and then another. I have not checked the forecast but I hope today it is what they predicted. As it's suppose to cool down.

  14. Frani I have done that but it gets to a point that you that it gets very boring to say the least and I am within the same general areas as you and it's been a heatwave in these parts that they say has never taken place with the humidex so high for some 30 years.

Sticky is what I call it. A great morning to you there.

  16. I was getting much to large there Caroline and why not :)
Ironically Nova Scotians as well as Newfoundlanders have much in common with Massachusetts. You will find that most have cousins or relatives of some nature between these three places. I don't know where Digby is. Glad to connect with you again. Thanks much as the coffee is ready! :)
