I felt about like that today when I sat at a bench at the River Walk to watch the Ducks. I got so sleepy. It's 97 degrees so I didn't do much walking..Water is relaxing..Great photo!
Nostalgic for me to see and I get homesick..so many lighthouses in Michigan where I grew up and the sky is so blue ..seems more often not as humid as here. Beautiful!
Fishing got something to do with feeling at peace and relax ... these two things i have known coz i love fishin' too. The tranquility that brings to one's mind is superb!
Black and white is really something, so dramatic and the rustic appeal that it brings is another thing ... lovely photo.
Reminds me of old literature again. The barn houses as they being called. And the colour pattern amidst the greenery ... nice. You got the colour perfectly!
Literally I cant relate too much wish all this - I have to admit it, I guess I have been out in the Prairies or out west too long. Mind you I do respect it much. It's a cultural thing that is for those that are surrounded by areas of water - lakes, ocean, large rivers etc.
There is a culture within this areas of fishing and all that goes with it, you can smell it off the water while boarding onto a ship or just fishing somewhere. The late Bing Cosby has an old song called "Gone Fishin".....it's an oldie.
it really was not all that much and not all that high just place for people to fish I would guess it to be around 40 ft. if that. Yet the ones that love to fish hung around this ....................I guess I have been westernize as Quebec is really an island onto itself yet the urban of vast excitement.
nice
