Hair is not just a problem for women. Hair is a problem for men as well. Yeah women have that think with shaving their legs but at the same time men have problems as well and it's not with the legs. I have to admit that I shave two time a day in the morning I will use an electric shaver and then I will use a razor afterwards. Then right after supper and sometime before I have to shave again. I used to have a beard as well as a mustache but for years I have went the clean cut look but it's not so much to do with the image, it's more with the tedious situation of having to shave and then shave again. Obviously, women will shave once in a day and that's it with there legs. So it's not just women that have this problem with hair, it's men as well. I have been thinking of just letting it go and growing a beard it's been a very long time since I have done it but what the heck I think I am going to grow a beard during the winter. Now that said there are some that can grow a good beard and then there are the scruffy ones. It's been a while but I think I am very well going to just let it grow and be done with it as I am tired of "shavin & razin" two to three times in a day.
My father's side of the family could never grow a beard, whereas on my mother's side - their completely to the opposite. But not to the point where one has a hairy back if you know what I mean...
do you grow a good beard or a scruffy one? And do you keep it short and trimmed nice?
ReplyDeleteMay as well give a beard a try..My son Justin loved being in the air force but he has a heavy beard and had to shave a lot..he is glad not to have to shave so much now. I think he looks good with a beard,,,if he keeps it trimmed up
ReplyDeleteOk let's us see, a beard and a moustache ... wonder if its fits you Jack. Yet I want to see the other side of you with those on. How long will it take for a man to grow it ...
ReplyDeleteWait ... I saw Japanese Samurai in his past pic w/ moustache on ... and it fits you well. But the beard ...

ReplyDeletePeople shave everyday their legs? I must be too pale
ReplyDelete. But I am not big on hair on the body for me except on my head (there I like it long) .I know some places and cultures have different ideas. Guys are different. They say it's made to stimulate women too we-- won't get into that-laugh).
There are some real hairy people. They are known as "The Wolf People" due to a condition known as "Hypertrichosis. Some look like the wolfman. I don't think that look is for you--but to each his own.
Even watched a tv special on it with the title something like "Hairy People in Japan"... ?
The things you think about and post sometimes--Love it!!

ReplyDeleteHi dear Parrie, I had to walk away as I was laughing so hard here I kid you not but I am gonna...
ReplyDeletek, i will stick to topic at hand, LOL! i personally don't care for beards (and i'm talking facial beards here now, not slang); a little scruff is good. nor do i really care for mustaches. it's to each one's own preference. some look good with them and some don't. personally i usually prefer the clean cut look but there are always exceptions.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I am going too and shall see how it goes, clean cut person here I have to get off this topic lol
ReplyDeletemy grandma always called mustaches cookie dusters. :)
ReplyDeleteI believe the natural state of a grown man is bearded. Why you all wanna' look like 12 year olds? :-))) Not to mention the "waste" of time. And a full grown beard is soft and cuddly.
ReplyDelete.i think ,,,youre right there too:)the weather affects my hair ,,....sometimes good [sun].. sometimes bad..
ReplyDeleteNow that is a new thought within this well I woke up did not shave and read the paper briefly and then went and started the car.....now just having my one hour coffee and let the growth begin well it has already :)
ReplyDeleteCaroline now that is head hair I still have some and lets just say there are no options there :)
ReplyDeleteA beard would look nice and it will keep your face warm for the winter Jack, :)
ReplyDelete..smiles...:)
ReplyDeletehahaha :)
ReplyDeleteI have male colleagues that grow beards for the winter and shave off in the summer. I think its kinda adventurous looking. Some keep their beards as a long stubble (indiana jones look). My husband has a beard and i think he is ruggedly handsome with it. (yummy)
Brenda yeah I am smiling as you used to live here and you do know how cold it does get :).
ReplyDeleteYeah I am growing it but last night was hilarious as as I had to walk away as I think many were laughing so hard but I really am growing one..
ReplyDeleteIt's practical :)
Now Jack ... how's the thing going. Am a bit afraid I won't recognise you anymore ... but, i don't know why i' am looking forward to see the other side of you. Hmmm ... let me see if I could see shade of "Jesus Christ" in you ... i meant the teatro play ... laughs*
ReplyDeleteLooking forward. Hugs :)
Well if I had to shave my legs two or three times a day I would give up to lol. The beard will keep your face warm through the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteTwo more days and it's there ! The beard that is :)
ReplyDeleteYou must be enjoying not having to shave that many times a day. Hope you'll be happy with the beard.
ReplyDeleteWe shall see...two more days...
