These are all with this new camera and I went to a place called the
Bessborough, which I have written about before. My father used to
have his own office at the top of this building and I wanted to test
out and as well see this Administrator that has been
there for a very long time just to catch up as well to try
out this camera. It's one of a chain of hotels that span
right across Canada from Quebec to British Colombia.
It's just a tremendous place. And during this time of the
year one does want to be more indoors than outdoors.
As well, before I left this city for two years I went into this
church called the 3rd Avenue United Church. I never knew
anyone there and back then I fell in love with these pipes.
When I arrived back here just last year I came to know people
there and while being there I ran into the minister - she is a
fine friend. As soon as the janitor saw me he said that she
would want to speak with me, as it's been a while. I mentioned
this once before there is another church that is exactly the
same in design and in age within somewhere in Chicago.
I love the pipes and have an open-ended invitation to
take pictures on Christmas Eve, which I hope to be
able to make. But this is what I enjoy very much and
some are good at painting and for me my small little
hobby is "painting pictures" if you will.
It's all within good taste and there is one picture that Queen Elizabeth
the Second gave to my father in here back many years ago.
So these are my "paintings" if you will that I so often call vantages
and there is symbolism within nearly each on.
“Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.”
.I love this lamp.such a pleasure to ..look at:)

ReplyDeleteYeah this is an Anglican or what is called a United Church as I have been there before and the minister - she is rather liberal and there are a few places here that I can just walk into and am able to get all the lights thrown on and so forth - going to do two things today and one of which will be heading out again and I have to buy a tripod.
