Good Morning

Well it's the same cold and they say it's supposed to be warming up. Yesterday when I arrived home I formatted this computer and placed all things back on. And as well I have not been much within the writing mood yet I will log on here and well its nice with a cup of coffee.  Today is an important day as my mother will be undergoing a surgery tomorrow and I don't wish to go there so please don't ask. It's that time where you just render the best and keep you head up high. Otherwise you just get tapped out. Outside of this I guess with the weather an all it's kind of a bit of a hibernation with this weather  yet one does go from one place to another but I can tell you running out with your sweats on to start the car and then get back in and unwind or warm up really is something that will do much better with waking one up.

I was reading a friends blog and I read where you only keep your writes down to a certain amount of words. Do we really just skim through those that write and say something nice? I know that I will read each on that I wish to make a comment with. Which leads me to Bill Johnston's writing, on Sunday eve, I was browsing around and I could see all that had been wrote by many and then Bill's was something that was exemplary as it was more within the real. Many times I find that people would rather like to see the eye candy that the substance if you ask me as well maybe it was a just a thought as well as write that was very much worth reading as I see it.  Looking forward to doing a few writes as well as a few reads and I think I would like to do something creative but will see how this works with this computer and it's funny how one can break a routine as we all have areas that are of most importance to us.

  8. Good morning Jack. Nice that you got your reformatting done it's quite a tedious process indeed. The photo of your Mom in your comments she is an attractive lady I will remember you tomorrow especially as she has her surgery. Even today because the time before gets difficult when you have things on your mind but as you said I know you will hold your head up high.

  15. Here in Chile, South America, its summer, I'm in Patagonia and its rare to go above 64f (18c) due to the winds from the south pole. The summers here are always windy. Global warming has made a big impact on our weather each season, up until 3 years ago we use to have 3 foot of snow regularly for 3 months, hardly went below 30f (0c). Now its 30cm for 3 weeks and the rest of winter its icy a few degrees below zero. It is common to have the odd snow shower all year round but now we get hail or sleet instead plus the winds have come a season earlier. So in the local newspaper when it was 66f last Wednesday, people were photographed seen sitting on the beach by the Magellan Strait in Punta Arenas. Times are changing, we adapt and try to survive the shifting attitudes and our seasons. Thats what makes us human.

  22. Hi Jack, sorry that your mom had to go through surgery. I have been away from computer these last few weeks, too concerned about other things that have taken me away. Sending good thoughts for you all. I have heard on the news how cold it has been in your area, you are really being thrown into winter. Poor you, that is a rough start. Take care dear friend.
