~ Are We ~

Are We

Are we the time?
And are we the famed?
Or are we the water?
Humbly flowing
But not the solid diamond
Not one remains still
For we are the river
Looking out and beyond
Seeing our own reflection
While we carry on

The mirror of the river
Moves so slow yet swift
Much like a crystal
That vibrates its hues
A diversity of rays
Are we the vain?
A predetermined river?
An ever changing blaze
That can never rearrange

I think not...

History does not pound
Within a coin nor nickel
For all that we have
We are the charmed
For we are the river
Seemingly flowing
Towards a new route
One in which...

Only we know

    All of the poem is beautiful I'll probably come back and read again ..I am tired tonight but I like this (Looking out and beyond...Seeing our own reflection ...while we carry on) and life goes on Have a good night.

    I love to write this after a review of my favorite time of 2009. The meaning within it is just like a picture - it's within the eyes of the beholder.

    With regards to peace on this earth Arrielle, I had wrote on the president as it was one of my favorite times in 2009 and then in coming back to this I thought I would get within the flow of words as I often used too. Hence, "We Are"...I think it more about peace and not about a repeat yet only we know.

    I'm not sure of the new route yet but I do believe this will be a year of changes and there are some things that I need to conquer fears in..getting ready to take some first steps soon.
