After a very cool summer thus far. I went out from the morning to on large place to get some groceries then to move along within all that I wanted to get within an early day.
The streets were clear for the most part. On Saturdays most just sleep in whereas I love to get the sunrise and then some.
I was able to get on the roof of this one complex here by way of the owners manager and what a view of the river. As well, from within.
Thereafter I went for lunch and then decided I would call a friend that works with the firestations here. It was truly a tremendous day as we finally arrived at a time where it is summer and I hope it does last!

Yeah I was on top of the largest building that oversees the river here.
ReplyDeleteWithin Canada this particular street was awarded five times in a row the best rural and urban planning archeticture within Canada. Not kidding.

ReplyDeleteYeah I did the Chief did not want his picture taken and this was Captain that I had never met before but after a call he said, "Go for it". I did...:)
ReplyDeleteI got out at 8am and yeah I did, I have not really done this in some time but it all was within a flow as I could see that if I had left later I would not get the shots that I wished too. Especially within the the street near the river or the top of that building.

I have actually. My mom lives near the Ontario border and spent a summer once with my oldest driving through Canada, not there, but would be going over maps to plan their route.

Rita this was the easy shot, getting up there and on top took four flights of small stairs after the elevator I kid you not but when up there I did get shots from the highest I have ever been here. Literally.
ReplyDeleteA brand new fire engine that this fire hall just received last month. Where it came from or is made I don't know but this I wish I would have placed my video on to show a few things. But as I had not known the Captain as well as this Chief here. I just wished to get in a few pictures within the mornings time and it was interesting to say the least.

ReplyDeleteSue, it was as it's over 20,000 sq.ft. And I went upstairs to the manager’s office and she was not there and some computer person called her and while he was on the phone to her I snuck it. I kid you not. :)

Who says you can’t have some fun now and then and the worst-case scenario is that I would have had someone asking me to delete off the pictures :).
It seems that an indian summer has come finally and hopefully this will be the beginning of what we ordinarily would have two months ago, but not thinking about snow. Nope! :)

ReplyDeleteWithin Canada it's the best city to live in as of the last year. I am not sure if you have heard of Calgary but Saskatoon is often seen as being a smaller version of it. However during the summer and spring it does shine. It's not too big nor too small.

Recalls to me a mastiff who has been angered by the indignity of a trio to the groomer. The legs toward the building are widely stanced,, challenging. Those to the left are so finessed, almost dainty. I think the creature isn't happy. Ha ha, I think I'm too tired.

ReplyDeleteI love the green it truly all comes out here and on a more serious note the city was very well planned with the development of but within a manner that had not only buildings and streets but as well a variety of plants and so forth. Blue is my favorite color but within this time of year, green goes very far and beyond!
