I never had the time to catch up with things from yesterday but good morning and good evening to all. There is something to mornings. I am not sure what it is but they have that quality about them where one just awakes, splashes their face and looks outside and then takes an inventory of all that they have to get done.
That all being said, today I shall find out when this friend of mine and his wife will be arriving. And I am just taking inventory of all that I need to do and get. One thing that is one the top of my list is Diet Pepsi. I love it and it's something that I just love.
I did not get back on to follow up with my story of the air show here but it's been entirely cancelled - very different weather for this time of year but it's something you don't have any control of. So it's going to be a lazy Sunday.
Gosh I am looking for my darn glasses and seemingly they have vanished…Looking forward to reading some writes and catching up with a coffee cup.
Why not....
Good afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWeather report;

hot - humid - wet....here in Florida
ReplyDeleteSorry just threw in my washing - lets trade :)
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed a wonderfully cool evening yesterday, so much so that we stayed out on the deck beyond midnight.
ReplyDeleteThe wind stirred memories, and small talk, encouraging the formation of ideas and dreams. It was a quiet and beautiful visit between my parents-in-law, my wife and me.
I recorded a visitor's appearance that surprised us here:
A Small Visitor.
Tonight promises rain, and the week ahead seems to look the same.
Thankfully, we love the rain.
hot here 33C and dry and quiet just like summer should be
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteHi Charles I could not help but go out to stay indoors is not my cup of tea. I shall look at the "small vistoror. And do wish you a good Sunday all in all.
ReplyDeleteI love the rain but I am not one for the cold rain as from in celcius going from 30 c to 10 c it's a transition that takes place overnight. A friend of mine that is going to be coming here along with his wife - the weather there from our conversation was only 8 c yesterday.
There is a converter online that does give one the ability to know the conversion. As it's a cooler climate yet I went out and met up with a cousin of mine for a coffee. Most of all what was in the conversation was the climate...But it shall come back up. And be warmer in a few days.
if all goes well we are back up in three days to 24c. Heidi I am looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteAnd the same to you. As I just arrived home in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteYou as well my friend. :)
ReplyDeleteHot-humid-wet-Chicago, too!
ReplyDeleteSeems you were experiencing a wet 50* F. Quite cool for August
ReplyDeleteToday we are 89* F with a heat index of 98*F or 32* C that feels like 37* C
Ahh, reach your hands out toward the warmth of our weather and feel them thaw.
Hi Cath, yes it's not humid here but it's wet very wet....
ReplyDeleteAt least the grass will grow green.. How I HATE humidity!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a dry climate here, but I recall the humidity of NY as well as within Toronto....
ReplyDeleteWe have no control over the climate that is the only thing that I really do know with regards to this.
Sometimes the ole farmer almanac is the best prediction but most of all it's just when one awakes and looks outside and then
does there own measure of what it is. The other day I froze my behind off! Ouch! :)
Don't recommend that diet pepsi...
ReplyDeletewhy not ? :)
