It really is so hard to place a name to a variety of pictures one has taken.
Today I went to a place called "Dutch Growers" and there after I ended up at the Forestry Farm and Zoo.
The weather started out nice and then came the rain and the highs are only 18c. Where it could and is usually around 25 for this time of year. Regardless I enjoyed it.
I had mentioned on those days off or self days if you will - leave without my watch and I don't think about time.
From here to all of you as within it all we all do share.
Oh neat! Very nice I like windmills
ReplyDeleteNeat it reminds me of a restaurant in a small town nearby here..the walls are purple like that I think It's called "The Purple Plum" It's a little place downtown , very quaint
ReplyDeleteI like this shot nice angle and colors. Pretty room

ReplyDeleteThank you! I just came back here I was here all today as I was looking for from which to take, I never find exactly what I am looking for but "the purple room is something".
ReplyDeleteThank you Cheryl.
No it's not me nor a relative I forget his name however he manages and markets the Forestry Farm and Zoo here. A very wise man. And we talked for some time on a variety of things. It's so interesting in meeting people and talking on a variety of areas and issues.

ReplyDeleteThank you I just came back in from the porch and it's still pouring rain...yet a good day it has been.
ReplyDeleteIs that a lynx, or just a real scary looking house cat?
ReplyDeleteForget the national emblems; that's one magnificent bird!
ReplyDeleteThat is what it is - for the life of me Doug I had it at the tip of my tongue but yes it's a Lynx indeed.
ReplyDeleteI would not have that running around within the house...
I zoomed as best as I could not kidding....it is one of a kind the bald eagle!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous. I want to buy 3 of those big hanging baskets in the greenhouse. The heat and wind bashed mine to death last week. They got lots of water but couldn't take the stress. I am trying to make one new one with bits of survivors and flowers stolen from the flower beds. It's just not the same.
ReplyDeleteKaryn, I was looking for something from which to give as a gift and while I was in there I talked with the owner that has been there for years and I pulled out the camera. This is one place that has been here for years. It grew from a small place to over 15,000 sq. ft. All based on word of mouth.
ReplyDeletethe bear is taking a nice comfy cool-off bath
ReplyDeleteMy gosh you notice - I waited and waited for him to finish and there was another there but Annette - needs and wants I have to get a new camera that was with a zoom. "Bear Bath" - I like that. As well you know whot? HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND over there Annette.....
ReplyDeleteThinking to myself here as I have to have a shower in a tad but the weather is wet and tomorrow it is warming up as we are getting the jet stream from British Colombia (the West coast). I love it hot not 12c and raining - but I took my vitamin D and Calcium this morning....:)
