As it's always and all encompassed. We thrive on time. When I have free time I take my watch off and just go with the flow.
Within it all it's that day that you take to yourself and I ventured out to what is called the forestry farm here. It's rather cooler for this time of year, yet from the far west it seems that August may come to be summer yet.
I thought I would make a quick post and just write a hello as thereafter I have some work to do but I have covered so many areas that I am finding that that "philosophical moment" does come slowly but surely but now it's time for good priorities.
I see the news and it seems that there are so many things one could write but one does in their own way all in good time. So I am working on my things in my own way and actually enjoying it. Change has no absolutes.
I still get the greatest kick out of some of the people that I am meeting with this silly camera of mine...
Love the idea of losing your watch when you have "free time!!!" :-)
ReplyDeleteToday is that day in which I have and I used to do it back while I was off on weekends and right now with all that has taken place. Sue I literally have two watches but that said today I did leave it off and it's funny how you just go with the flow. Time is a precious thing yet at the same time I feel that sometimes if we go with our own inner clock we don't just live by the "tick tock", we flow...

ReplyDeleteyou know i rarly wear my watch, i do have to check time when i need to but weekends i do not clock watch , time waits for no man as they say lol hugs Rosiex
Rosie there are those day that I just let time pass but there are times that I have. Time is a conceptual thought I guess you just gave me and thank you.
ReplyDeleteHugs back to you....your friend Jack.
have several wathches, never wear them, don't use a clock to wake me in the morning either.watching time is of no great use...passes so fast these days and you wonder wre it all went.relax and enjoy your evening and may your weekend be full of good things.
ReplyDeleteI lose track of time when I am out with my camera I may be wearing a watch but I pay little attention to it unless there is something pressing that just has to be done at a specific time
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the riverwalk best because it is quiet for the most part but there are people as well and I've had soem nice chats with some ..after awhile going to the same place you start to recognise faces
Have a great weekend
Thank you Parrie
ReplyDeleteThis is true....but before this I had some areas and am still working them all out with regards to my own medical but you know what - you let it go.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can relate so well Cheryl....
I don't wear watches as they don't keep proper time on my arm anyhow....expensive or Timex or on a necklace...they say I have too much electricity in my body. What a crock. Anyhow I don't like them and now that I am retired I can go with the flow as you say. I try to make all appointments for 1:00 so I can just get up when I feel like it and putter until I feel like facing people.
ReplyDeleteKaryn you have your own inner clock working for you.
ReplyDeleteWell I feel like the outsider. My days are totally run by time and calendars of events to do and coming up. I even tease my husband that if I dont send the appointment to make out to his calendar now and then we never will! Ah well. Clocks or calendars or not, I will never be a great morning person. To wake up cheery at 5 or 6 in the morning I would need to go to bed at 3 PM the previous day!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend all.
thanks so much for the "philosophical moment" email - hahahahahahhhaa - classic
ReplyDeleteJenna,
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong I do look at the time as well as most times of the week I do wear a watch. We all do have agendas and things in which we have to attend with. But are those special times now and then that you can literally go without a watch as yesterday I did but today I didn't and I was up at 5am and if I had not looked at the time I would have been somewhere before it opened this morning. So with no doubts time is a factor. Or we do factor it in.
A great weekend to you and I hope that all is well with you and your family....
For some reason I thought you would have a geat time with listening to it Annette!
ReplyDelete~ I love how it begins....and how it ends ~
