Well my day started at 5 in the morning seems that my own inner clock is coming back to being in synch.
I can’t start to mention all the things that I have done today but within it all they were good ones if you know what I mean. Sometimes everything just comes together so to speak I had some time with my cousin.
And that is a story within its self but it was enjoyable to say the least.
As many know I don’t mind sharing areas of my life there was a week back were I had gone offline and then I am not addicted to this computer, but I have come to conclude that we do have that inner realm within each and everyone of us that is far past watching television.
The day was gloomy to say the least and the temperatures still are not what they are supposed to be for this time of the year. But it’s far better than winter. Ironically while getting groceries I while waiting in the checkout there was an old gent and he was carrying on about the weather. It’s interesting to listen to some of these old folk and their stories but this was a time in which I wished to get a few things in and I smiled and listened as you honor those older people – it’s just the right thing to do.
I went over to my cousins, which I had mentioned before her husband was away and we both had a great time, she is a few years older than me but she but she is young at heart.
All in all, it’s been a human day. Meaning doing those things that you embark on things that are worthwhile.
Was there anything especially special that happened today? No, it just "flowed”. And time goes by so fast that before you know it the day has gone by.
Perhaps August is within my steps.
thanks again for sharing your day, and keep enjoying the summer, as we know in Canada it does not last long enough.....mind you I could not live in California where there is only 2 seasons....I like to hibernate and read for a while in the winter and stop gardening
ReplyDeleteKaryn Utopia is under the feet as I see it and you make the best of where you reside. After looking at all these pictures from this one group called Picture Perfect - not doing a sell on it. It is really amazing the various places within the world. I loved New York it's my second home and I am happy where I am now.
ReplyDeleteBut the array of places within the world. And within offline life - you meet people from a variety of places.
I am not thinking of winter yet...as there are a good two months left to go. But I am glad over there in BC that things are starting to pan out.
Hi Jack! "Perhaps August is within my steps." I love those words, and I do so hope that things will be better, as the last two months have been bitter, biting months. Two months of the worst trials that I have ever been through, but I think I made it ok....with hardly a scar. Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it when the going get's tough.
ReplyDelete"Utopia is under the feet as I see it and you make the best of where you reside." I agree, one of the greatest things in life, is to be content with whatever state you're in.
I've noticed the Picture Perfect group. It's much like Images and Words. I sent a request as a contact, but as far as I know, I haven't had a response from that person/group as of yet.
I'm heading to bed now, so saying goodnight!
((hugs))
I am sure it shall be Debby...Keep the faith.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful day! May you have a wonderful weekend as well!
ReplyDelete"a human day" I am savoring this phrase.
ReplyDeleteThank you I hope so as well, according to the weather today is the start of really in this part of Canada summer according to the weather network.
ReplyDeleteWe shall see, but there is nothing like that early morning coffee with a tad of honey with just a little milk. Nothing forced just all flows within it's own way.
My cousin is something, she can be a little much at times and I was never raised along with her as during my youth I was living in New York. But then when I went to university here, I came to know her - most people know all there relatives as they are raised with them but for myself and within my family it was not that case.
A long story short - she is Caroline and she truly is a great friend and we do relate on many things. I have never seen someone that came out of a divorce and hold her own for five years after 20 years of being married and then go on to marrying a very good man. Older but very decent.
I do have the gift of the gab at times! A great day to you and the weekend has just began for some of us and there are others that are coming up on Sunday.
It's a small world but one that is worth embarking on Arielle...
Peace and hugs,
Jack

My day isn't over yet, it's only 12:30 in the afternoon, and so far I've had a lovely day :-)... Thank you for a peek into your day, I know I'm going to be able to follow suit, my friend did it, so can I..;-)... Oh, and have a peaceful, lovely evening Jack ;-)

ReplyDeleteHope you get some good weather during the rest of the month. Here, in the deep South of the United States, August just means the Dog Days of Summer---hot, hot, hot. Temps into the 90's for the most of the month and little or no rain declare Summer's power to hold you in a tight grip till you sweat.
ReplyDeleteA little cooler than usual weather (here) would be a great treat!!!
It's all due to the north and south pole glaciers melting right now but at least now here the jet stream has brought worth weather and yesterday was a very decent day as was today within as I mentioned a human way...
ReplyDeleteI love it around when it's not too hot but not cold as it has been but you make the best of what it all can be. We have no real control over the weather.
So true... what's the old quote? "Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it." :-)
ReplyDeleteThere are so many Sue...
