Picture Perfect # 5 ~ Contrast

Around Campus (25)

Contrast is something that to compare in order to show unlikeness or differences.

For me the contrast is returning back to one of the universities I attended and some 20 years later seeing what had changed.  It really took some time to figure out what I wished to give with only one picture to consider.  I truly enjoy this and too all this is my submission.

I have not participated within this in some time but I thought I would post something within this theme of contrast.Within picture perfect I have been looking for that certain contrast that Heather was looking for within this group and I decided to go back in time. To the times in which I was studying.

  2. It was Anna you could go and show something old and so forth and I decided to go back to a picture that I took and a lecture hall that I used to sit and wait for the session to be over...
But that was then and contrast is something that shows a difference. Of course I sat way up in the back of the class back then and made it to most all lectures, not all but most. :)

  5. I suppose I see the contrast of the very large screens meant to show SOMETHING to the masses of (the contrast here) empty seats-

  15. Thank you, nope the back was the spot for me along with an old friend that honestly had photographic memory...I hated that :)...
As with all coming over and seeing yours and the rest there.

I have always said that this Picture Perfect is like and online National Geographic....and contrast was not easy, as I have many
but I wanted to get something different within some way and this was one of the lecture halls that I used to plant myself down at
on every Mon - Wed - Friday. If I was up in time :)

    Thank you Rob...

  19. Sometimes when you go back to a place you have been you see the differences, ironically it does not show on this picture but on the cieling of this lecture hall there one thing stayed the same by tradition - everyone would throw up paper airplanes and they would stick on the wall!

I am not breaking the one picture rule but this is the cieling...and that is one thing that has not changed! :)

  23. Yours was colourful as well as there is a connection between yours and mine. That young man may very well be in a lecture hall as well in due time. But hopefully applying himself more that I was back then. Age it's interesting. However you had a very colourful shot to say the least.....

  29. Heather thanks but within it all yesterday I saw your picture as an example and again I say it was nice, I know your one of the admins of this group and kudos to you for coming up with this word > CONTRAST....

  30. Sharon I don't really wish to compete, I love the variety especially when you see parts of so many different countries and the mindset of the eyes within the lens.
This seems to be the last one and I will venture into the home site later but for now I wished to say this before I go and click and see what you have.

  31. This is a very interesting shot. I love the angle. It almost makes me dizzy with the aspect of height that you can feel.

Thank you so very much for you kind comments on my shot.

  34. Thank you I believe I went to your site and how ironically we do have something within all this that we do share.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I have been to your site I believe and ironically how we do share some of our own perspectives...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Indeed we do! I love that shot of yours!

    ReplyDelete
  37. There is one thing that we do share the same stars skies that is what does make this world go around. Regardless of where we are.

  38. One of many! I had a friend post the other day a call he had with a relative who lived nearby him but not too close. She had called to ask him if he saw the rainbow. He walked outside and together, even though they weren't necessarily with one another, in spirit and soul they shared the rainbow! There is so much shared but often overlooked!

  39. So true, I have a friend that hails from South Africa and I wish there was a share of one picture that she did as she as like most did a fantastic job with one picture.
I will be writing on Picture Perfect soon. As they have allowed me too and as it's early I am just jotting things down that I would like to write on and hopefully it resonates the meaning of all this and then it's off to a place that I love to go hiking if the weather does adjust as the weather man said.
