The repertoire of Paul's is just ordinary really - we all can relate with the songs most of them anyways. I have not done a Utube in a while and thought last night I would and I played it over three times as the sound and the riffs are just ...................great!
Hi Cal, he is on tour right now as we speak he came to Halifax for his "test" concert and then headed to NYC and I believe he is within the states somewhere right now. Do you remember the Album/CD Ram On?
This is a great song I don't do Utubes much but by way of an older brother I was introduced if not forced into the listening to the Beatles and as time went on I came to really enjoy them as well as their repertoire of songs. Especially John's and Paul's.
I don't remember what year it came out...Ram On, that is, but the first time I remember hearing it was in 1971, I believe. My CD is all scratched, so I uploaded it to my computer. Most times when a CD won't play on my stereo, it will play on the computer. Just curious, what's your favorite song from that album? I think Heart of the Country is mine, but I love them all...
especially "live a little, be a gypsy, get around, get around, get your feet up off the ground, live a little, get around!"
I loved "Ram On", it was the title of the album and the song it as well was my favorite.
"Ram on, give your heart to somebody, Soon, right away, right away. Ram on, give your heart to somebody, Soon, right away, right away."
My second choice back then in recalling it from memory as my brother was the Beatle collector was "Too Many People". He always had a way of really writing in a manner that nearly everyone could relate too.
The ultimate sign of trust?
ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeleteI love Paul McCartney!
Great song! His voice isn't sounding so worn in this one!
ReplyDeleteWithin the lyrics he wrote in his twenties I guess so...
