Hello...

Well I have not been of since Monday. There were some family situations and I find that I really don't wish to dwell on it. Some have no problem with it whereas I like to write on things that there is not dessention.

I find right now that the media and the politics of health car reform have caused a dessention to some extent between so many countries. I think no country has the perfect system but there is meaning in what we do share.

Yes as many have told me "Jack this is your blog", but at the same time what subjects can one write about other than reporting on all the things that have taken place. As far as over here things have worked out for my father with his tests with his cancer that is in remission and every time it does happen it does take much out of the entire family.

I thought I would share that and I am just thinking of something to write and as well wishing everyone a good evening or good morning pending where you are from.

  5. Oh he is doing fine but when it happens all within my family have there fingers crossed. He has lived past and beyond most...so it's always a little harsh as one always does tend to worry of what the outcome is. But it all came out good. So he is within the clear.

  16. All the best to you.

You can write what you want, but you know people will reply from where they are and we all have work to do to become as our Creator intended which is good (a worthy goal even if you leave out the Creator part). :-)

  18. First let me say that am sorry to hear that your father is a cancer patient, the disease knows no boundries and takes on too much power. We are lucky to have so many good hematologists and oncologists that can help. The one thing that many people are concerned here is that though treatment is available, with the new medical reform, their may be many people put asside for those that government feels they can help most. In other words one of the major news stations said that the fear is that if a patient is not thought to have as much a survival rate, that they would be put on the backburner so to speak, to help patients "they, the government" feel may benefit most from treatment. I don't like when government steps in and tries to play God. My mom has a form of cancer and is in remission as well and am very greatful that she is well, however, if her condition were to change and she needed another treatment, would the government step in to make the decision ? Their are many people here in the states that are panicking over this news that is all over the television and radio news broadcasts. Not only are the poor and or elderly feeling they may not get the health care/meds they need to survive, many may not be able to afford the meds they need if certain health plans are taken over by government. And not only is that a concern, the government is now saying they will be cutting back on payments of social security, so now their will be many people that not only can't be without the medical treatments and meds they are now getting, they are being told that their monthly checks that they worked for all their lives will be cut and could be a drastic drop in money. So, now not only won't many be able to pay for their meds, their medical needs, and not to forget getting nurshing foods now that their monthly check will be much less. Just where is the justice? Not everyone is fortnate to have a loving caring family, it's sad but true and this may mean more people losing their homes. Such sad times. I've worked over 30 years paying into social security and now being told that when comes time to collect, their may not be enough money to pay everyone. And then I heard yesterday that many people with 401k plans are having difficulty gaining access to their own money they invested. {what's actually left for many if they took bigger risks in investing their money may be much less then they once thought} Americans wanted change, well you see the change happening right before your eyes. Are you really happy ? I'm very tired and just babbling, I suppose turning deaf ear to all that has been happening in the world and by choice because didn't want to be upset, has now become overwelming because it's everywhere you turn these days, just pick your source of media and you will become depressed. Oh, gee, will depression be covered ? Or will people be put away as was done in earlier years before the medical community realized that mental illness is actually a treatable illness in most cases. At almost 4am, this may not be put exactly how would like to have expressed, it's just what I'm feeling, a bit overwhelmed by all of this. Everyone be well and just remember that their is power in prayer, so let's all pray for each other in the hope of this mess being straightened out before is too late. And then not to forget that their are those that don't believe in God and that is your choice, so what ever it is that you do when things get difficult in your lives, just put forth your positive energy and hopefully be supportive of one another. Peace, Liz

  19. i think there are hundreds of themes to write about!
focus on what's on your mind worth sharing!

  20. ite a message, though it be lengthy as shows below, it is now and will continue to be worth sharing until things are straight. Whether you are responding to my post or that of others, one thing you really need to be understanding is that this subject is "very important to many people" and will not just go away. If you don't like what someone is writing then you have every right to voice your opinion. However, the one thing I will not allow is for someone to tell me that what I have to say about this or any other topic to be not important. I respect everyone else's opinions whether I agree with them or not, because it's not my place to judge anyone for their America right to do so and all I can do is listen and maybe, just maybe, their will be something in their message that just may make me see something in another light. We can't learn if we turn away from someone because they express different views. I'll step off my soap box and let everyone know that never will you see me telling anyone that whatever they have to post is not worthy, whether I agree or not. Freedom of speach !

  21. Oops ! Sorry, all my message didn't post, but I'm guessing you get what I'm trying to say in response to Amalie's post. It's just I feel that if someone didn't feel passionate about what they were writing, then why write ? Respect others opinions as you would want them to respect yours. I'm really not a big political person, this is something that has potential to be bigger than anyone of us can fix on our own. It's just every once in awhile something gets to me and well, this is one of those times. Liz
