It was a cooler day and I went to this Bridge that I had blogged about as it has not been restored yet, but I wished to get it that way and as well during the trip although I don't have a great zoom lens - I was able to get on top of my car and take a picture of the highway and get a portion of what is known as the North Saskatchewan River and the terrain that surrounds it.
And then in returning I took a few other pictures and the sun did shine perhaps a few times but for the most part it was more like May in the temperture yet it was just fine.
Oh yes, there is a building renovation in here that is undergoing renovations and I was talking with the construction manager as well as a few lads, and I must have sounded like an old man as it was within the fist mall that I built when I was just a kid.
Most of all I love this bridge and shall come back to it later this summer and see what it looks like then.
These are really beautiful pics Jack. How good you spent a nice day.
ReplyDeleteThanks it was a colder day but very enjoyable. It was only 15c.
ReplyDeleteFantastic pictures! Be careful going over bridges in West Virginia. There were some stupid jerks cutting away metal from them to sell to recyclers for cash.
ReplyDeleteTHESE ARE ALL VERY NICE
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Jack...I do love looking at bridges..specially the ones in New York...:)

ReplyDeleteCal the kids got to this one with so much graffitti, I must be getting old as it's terrible with what these kids of today do for fun.

ReplyDeleteThat was in walking to this bridge as mentioned and I did not think it was that far gone, as I had seen it many times in driving to Edmonton, Alberta from here.
Thanks.
Something for interest - do you realize that most all the bridges when first completed by aboriginals from Canada.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of that small little tidbit - good morning Rosie and I think you did your picture if I recall correctly and shall be there.
Loretta I love this one and a few others it was so darn windy and all well cold when I left here I and drove, I did not expect the weather to go so low. As I would have taken more time and I am going to do something whereby I can get early - very early rays of sun on this again. I truly love bridges for some reason. The explanation of this bridge is back on my home page.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you there in England.
It is, I had taken a shot of this back when I lived here three years ago and I came back to it again and it really seemed to be meant for the day we were having yesterday as it really declared it's image on a damp cloudy day. It's potash stone I believe and the black thing at the top - I am not sure what that is. And I should have read the in script at the bottom but I just wanted to get the image.
ReplyDeleteVery fine
ReplyDeletelike the texture and the reflections on the inner parts
ReplyDeleteIs this a mural of the city?
ReplyDeleteYes it is and done with the education system here Lynn.
ReplyDeleteIt's before the renovations start Byron and it's nearly an hour out of town. It's outstanding what this man has done from his own pocket book.
