You have your own blogs, but at the same time I would like to leave this one space in tribute to Michael Jackson. If you wish to throw in your own two cents or words or anything at all by all means this space is open to a collective soul that everyone can place something in as they deem fitting.
Now and then you have to say WHY NOT.
Heal the World :
ReplyDeleteThere's a place in
Your heart
And I know that it is love
And this place could
Be much
Brighter than tomorrow
And if you really try
You'll find there's no need
To cry
In this place you'll feel
There's no hurt or sorrow
There are ways
To get there
If you care enough
For the living
Make a little space
Make a better place...
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
If you want to know why
There's a love that
Cannot lie
Love is strong
It only cares of
Joyful giving
If we try
We shall see
In this bliss
We cannot feel
Fear or dread
We stop existing and
Start living
Then it feels that always
Love's enough for
Us growing
So make a better world
Make a better world...
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
And the dream we were
Conceived in
Will reveal a joyful face
And the world we
Once believed in
Will shine again in grace
Then why do we keep
Strangling life
Wound this earth
Crucify its soul
Though it's plain to see
This world is heavenly
Be God's glow
We could fly so high
Let our spirits never die
In my heart
I feel you are all
My brothers
Create a world with
No fear
Together we cry
Happy tears
See the nations turn
Their swords
Into plowshares
We could really get there
If you cared enough
For the living
Make a little space
To make a better place...
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
There are people dying
If you care enough
For the living
Make a better place
For you and for me
Bitter sweet,
ReplyDeletewe enter this world bare with nothing...
our canvas bare as our soul....
some like Micheal Jackson....
color theirs with songs...
but darkness tainted his world....
his life a path paved with gold ....
but fate put stop to that , a man who had everything but love.
Wow..........Lets see if we can do this and it will be deleted off if you so wish. Thanks Rosie and Annette....It's a good mannered challenge as I see it a collective soul and why not!
ReplyDeleteI will do mine as well but right now it's early and I have yet to get my coffee!
Thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteyou keep the poem , it is for you , maybe i shall enter this in another book of poetry.hugs Rosie
Love the poem, Rosie !!!!
ReplyDeleteHe was a fantastic musician and a wonderful dancer .... from childhood until the end !!
I, for one, am going to miss him, but he shall continue on in our lives through his music .... and the memories we have of him.... Good Bye Michael ..... it was an honor !!!
Michael Jackson makes the third celebrity that passed away this week. First Ed McMahon, the Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. They say these things happen in three's. Although Michael passed his medical exam just a few months ago, it came as no surprise to me when I heard the news. He sure hasn't been looking well and going down hill fast. He did some great work over his life time.
ReplyDeleteMJ hit a prime and then many things went down in the last 12 years of his life. All I know Elizabeth is that we see President Obama as being the first person to do something that carried this theme of HOPE.
ReplyDeleteI think that by way of his music and after his break as a solo artist - he really did some things that were most impressive and that will not be forgotten.
Oh, Michael did many things that wont be forgotten!
ReplyDeleteA slide show of Michael with family and other faces you will know. It's really something to see.

I am sure that some will partake and some will not but it's something that is of worth and lets see where this goes. It's not done in vain nor for me. It's a collective idea that I thought of at 5:30 this morning.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the words as well as the link to this page Rosie.
ReplyDeletemisunderstood, misconceptions?
ReplyDeleteperhaps only a few know
however we all know
he was a talented soul
may he receive the peace of eternity
I grew up the same time..he did . I've seen and heard him from the begining of his career since he was just a year younger than I. He was very talented. There was a lot of sadness in his life but also great sucess and joy. Probably even with all the fame and money it was the simple things that meant the most to him. The riches of the heart , being loved by those who you care about deeply...and loving, caring for others.
ReplyDeleteRight now I have too much going on to concentrate much but I pray peace and comfort for his loved ones, fans, family
Big Artist that Mickaël, he will remain the one that animated by these songs our evenings of holidays, our musical universe will remain marked with his imprint.
ReplyDeleteIt is now a pure vibration.
ReplyDeletebeautifully put into words my dear friend zatson, a musical master was he.
I know today there are many groups that are doing there thing but I am going to leave this flow. I have done this now and then and it was something that is done with respect and I will not be here all day long....but I do thank you in taking the time.
ReplyDeleteAnd hopefully there will be more that flow in. Thank you Danette, Cheryl, and Jean....
Annette stole my words lol I love this song by him it is so from the heart-
ReplyDeleteHeal the world - Micheal Jackson
Honored and adored
ReplyDeleteCrucified and persecuted
Fameous and infameous
All in the eye of the perceiver....
RIP Michael!
Sending out prayers to the family, friends and all the fans of Michael Jackson.
ReplyDelete~ Rest in eternal peace Michael Jackson ~
His music is and will always be a special, beautiful part of my life.
My thoughts of Michael is short and simple...I loved him no matter what and THRILLER is my favorite song.RIP, MICHAEL
ReplyDeletethey have been playing thriller all day on the radios over here
ReplyDeleteHe was indeed a Great legend...went against all odds..I hope his soul rest in peace..
ReplyDeleteI prefer to remember him as he was when I was a teen..he filled me with music and those songs will carry with me forever
ReplyDeleteWell, as an adult, Michael Jackson disappointed me with his most recent behavior. But as a musician, his drive and motivation did touch and affect the world. When I heard the news, i instantly flashed back to all my childhood memories of singing, dancing, and rollerskating to his music. I remember his videos and thriller scaring the crap out of me when I was in grade school. He did bring a magic to the music world that no other artist ever has or ever will. I am only sorry that he is gone and the end of his life was in tragedy.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with the Jackson family and his children.
Michael was ok until he began to deny his color. I liked him before Thriller. Or even before he did that Pepsi commercial where he burned his face. Then he began with all the plastic surgeries and all the pedofil issues. I feel sorry for his life at the end. May he rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteGod blessed him with the gift of song
ReplyDeleteA voice heard round the world and back
Wanted to save the children of the world
Brought together souls of white and black
From a shy young boy to a super star
With five brothers upon the Apollo stage
This music legend to never be forgotten
Never-land story now upon the final page
Moon walked to the beat of Billie Jean
Thrilled us with the howl at the moon
Songs remembered with gentle smiles
He has gone to be home much too soon
May Michael now rest in heavenly peace
Never forgotten for his songs will live on
Memories made throughout his lifetime
Linger in our heart though he is now gone
May Michael rest in peace. He shall live on in hearts and memories through his amazing music. Prayers for his family, friends and millions of fans all over the world. Sandy
Michael was set on a comeback
ReplyDeleteinstead he came back to the source
this is where he was born a soul
called Wonderboy, singer, dancer
so very talented, also a charmer
everybody cooed at the pretty boy
Michael, Michael, Michael ...
But then the inside came forth
replacing the cute outside
black turned cadaverously white
non-acceptable instincts were revealed
Wonderboy became Slanderboy
the target of many evil media reports
Michael, Michael, how could you?
When was he transformed in our minds?
We loved him, and then we despised him
forgetting that the inside now was the outside
The cute, innocent boy lived on within
Maybe, just maybe he didn't understand
the impact of "fooling around" with young boys
Maybe this was his bid for his lost childhood
Allowing this to flow for a while and man I appreciate all and each of you and wait and see what comes about from this.....
ReplyDeleteWe are an assembly of equals paying some tribute on our own blogs as well as well to my surprise a collaborative things done in unison.
Once again I say why not!
I will place my own as well but not for a while as there are many out there. It's not about numbers it's about real people behind a computer
from all walks of life and a variety of lands. With no other intention but to create something that is of worth in tribute.
The boy that started off from Indiana that did not know where he would go with his brothers
ReplyDeleteThereafter setting off within his own destiny within music
I recall the Album, as there were not CD's yet - Off the Wall
And how I would listen and listen to they lyrics as well as a few songs
Then came the videos and he was a marvel
He seemed to come to a stage were things went strange for him
Why I don't know.
In many ways he influenced so many from a variety of countries
Too me as at that age I loved his music and thought he was
Far ahead of his time
Things did change but in my recollections
I find that for what he did during the predominant portion of his life
This was a man that passed on much too early
Yet today as I was driving to a park
I was listening to the radio and the entire artist
From all areas of music were talking about their own inspirations
Of one that seemed to inspire many not just some
But so many
I will never forget at the age of 10 where I was at my friend’s house
And I was listening to the radio then and they
Where talking about how he would record his music and ideas
On a tape recorder and then spend two hours a day just
Training himself on different ways to Dance
He was a born entertainer and as well as that young
Vibrant child from Indiana that seemed to live his life
In a more private manner
It's sad that he changed in looking for a manner
From which to be more
Did those that surrounded him drive it by him or
Who knows?
But the arrays of music from Ben to so many songs
I think more about the song that he wrote with one other
As Annette had placed at the beginning
As the first Live Aid needed a song
So underneath it all in his prime he did much for many
And many had taken
But the legend and music of Michael Jackson
Shall live on
And my hopes are the past 10 years of his life
Will not negate all that he did within all of 50 years
Michael where there is love you said you would be there
I don't think many realized how much you did care
But like a candle within the wind
It seems to me you did live your life
And may you rest in peace...
As we do "Remember the Times"
To all that partook in this I sincerely thank everyone and I think what strikes us the most is that it came so unexpected much like Maryln Monroe, Elvis, and so many others.
ReplyDeleteBut the legend lives on within us.
Yeah...
For sure Michaels songs will stay forever and he himself is a history...thanks
ReplyDeleteHis innovations in music and dance will be still influencing generations to come. May he finally have peace.
ReplyDeleteNo thank you and this is just too neat as I hear music due to a good friend placing in a song. I am just going to leave this hear while I move on within my own writes.
ReplyDeleteDon't thank me it's within the all....
Every person is looked upon at there very end on the areas of what they did and I was right with what I thought took him away and I think that is very sad when there are these doctors that push narcotic meds on people and create a client by way of getting them addicted - I said it Karyn as now it's out there and if only someone would have stepped forward before it came to this.
ReplyDeleteBut as you say may he be in God's hands now and be within a peaceful after life...

Here are two of his songs that I did which show his compassion for the world:
ReplyDeleteWoooooooooow!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cal!

ReplyDeleteThank you. I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is AWESOME MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I wasn't as familiar with the second one and I didn't have the time to praactice it like I would like to have. Please remind me when things die down a bit to practice it and re-record it.
