Oh I know there are some that I missed as after I had visited with two doctors, I had the mindset to do something more.
I went to the CBC as there is a story within that which I will come too. As well, I had to do some other things but while doing it I went to this one place in that I have heard so much about since I have returned here and it's called ....I forget the name right now but some of the most influencial R and B performers have been here including the likes James Brown - not kidding, as my cousin's daugher whom now is working in Washington DC went to see him there Tammy was the public relations rep., of this place and as well I have to email the CBC as they thought I may have been the competition you have to say people do think too much these days.
However despite two things that I have to get done medically and I will not be waiting long for it as so many have indicated within the Canadian Medical System. While I may wait for a week maybe two. I look forward to writing on the celebration of Canada Day and a few days later Unted States Birthday.
For me there are the stars and stripes and as well as there is the red maple leaf with bars. Are we that much different yes and no.
But within these pictures was my day, and I look forward to going further with this as I residing within Canada Do wish to write about what Canada is.
Not what so many think it is...
Yet it's a democratic country that has a foundation that is what it is as with any other nation.
Peace...
Oh wow tomorrow is July! Interesting set of photos

ReplyDeleteAhhh, am always impressed of how clean Canada is.
ReplyDeleteDid you take this picture while driving through, Jack?
ReplyDeleteThe vegetation of Canada is impressive!
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear the petter, patter of the rain..nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThis picture depicts a clement weather...
ReplyDeleteAhhh, another wet pavement...
ReplyDeleteJust look at the yard..it is truly groomed...very clean..
ReplyDeleteIs that a logo of some establishment?
ReplyDeleteWhere's everyone? Was it lunch time?
ReplyDeleteAhh, there is someone...
ReplyDeleteIs this still CBC?
ReplyDeleteIs this where they broadcast? Noticing the mic in front.
ReplyDeleteIt must be where they broadcast..different view of the mic.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a radio station..
ReplyDeleteIs this the same logo as the one outside the building in red and white colors?
ReplyDeleteNow I noticed the logo..so it's the CBC logo.
ReplyDeleteExpensive equipment. You are lucky to gain permission to visit the place.
ReplyDeleteVery unique logo.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, the right couch to ensconce oneself when tired...

ReplyDeleteRose thanks I have not wrote about it but I am on a wait with some medical matters with as this seems to have
ReplyDeletetaken a different turn but I just keep my mind off things in keeping busy with the areas that I enjoy here and within life as
well - Thank you.
Danni I just came back and now it's sunny but this morning it was pouring cats and dogs and looks like tonight it's going to be doing the same.
ReplyDeleteThe CBC has stations all over each and every place within Canada - the largest is in Toronto which is the headquarters but this was neat as well and I had to get on the phone to get the allowance to take these pictures go figure - but it was enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteThis is the radio station portion of the building Amy.
ReplyDeleteYep...I could take any pictures of anything while in progress but it was neat.
ReplyDeleteif you look at the website www.cbc.ca you will see that it is the logo for the canadian broadcasting system.
ReplyDeleteYep if I was in New York I would get ABC and if in Georgia I would love to get CNN - could you imagine! But it would be much much more difficult.
ReplyDeleteAs this is not a huge station as it is in Toronto and I have been there.
Actually there are four television stations and within this province this city is really a secondary to another major city so I was surprised that the television cameras were as out dated as they were. I just talk nicely :)
ReplyDeleteNo there is a story to this picture and will come back to it in time I hope...
ReplyDeleteHome...
ReplyDeleteIt's an old bank that was turned into a major jazz place, they did not have the keys to turn the lights on within the place and it's called the Odeon.
ReplyDeleteMany old musicians that slowly get there chops going do a small tour and then make it larger - this has seen several of them including the likes of James Brown and many others.
It was not here three years ago and while I was down town I saw that the door was open and I thought I would ponder in and it was fun.
No
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy...
ReplyDeleteYes it's within a downtown shopping center and it connects what is known as the Scotia bank to the center - it used to be an old bank and it's great they kept this part intact.
ReplyDeletelove the texture here on the trees
ReplyDeletenice architecture here
ReplyDeleteThank you ironically right this minute it's just starting to pour again.
ReplyDeleteThis is on the street that I live and in the summer it's all lush and all the trees right around town are protected by the city.
So they are not lovely weeping willows like one finds on the east coast but I love them.
HAPPY CANADA DAY
ReplyDeleteAND HAPPY INDEPENDENT DAY
for those who live on this side of the pond
You are most welcome Jack. Have a good evening.
ReplyDeleteThanks Darlene and so is yours.
ReplyDeleteI like it placed this way as I have been thinking on what an how to write it but really I don't believe in borders and within these two countries we have a grand history and this week we all in our own ways celebrate our very freedoms which we have shared.
ReplyDeleteAmy, I will get to your blog as you have great compositions there and for some reason many picture did not get in here but it's fine for another day.
