Most often we have this type of cold weather in late December and January and this year it's all came about in an atypical way. I am not much for the layering of clothes just to get from one place to another. Yet hopefully the weather or at least the sun may come out as the combination of both do not only hit the immune system but as well. These days of less sunshine combined with record low temperatures for this time of the year does make it for a tedious time.
That term, " COLD TO THE BONE ", DOES APPLY. And yet you will see some people which dress as if it's much warmer but I guess it all depends on your immune system. As it seems like just yesterday where there was no problem with the cold and yet I will say that it can be dibilitating at times. Each morning I take a tylenol extra strength just to cut the edge of the aches.
Sunday's are easy yet I would much rather have the green than the white.
It takes a while to get used to the cold
ReplyDeletekeep warm

ReplyDeleteIt's like the global economy and weather went hand in hand Julie...
ReplyDeleteLousy to see an early Winter, Jack. Hope you get some relief.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are really getting walloped with snow.
ReplyDeleteI, too, am noticing how the cold weather makes me tense up when I go outdoors ... The arthritis doen't like it at all and let's me know. :-(
Just keep as warm and secure as you can!
ReplyDeleteDouglas there are some things which are just basically as you have said and it is lousy. Edmonton, Alberta was so cold last night and the jet stream ironically comes from there although here I am due south. Now "Due South" is a variation to what most would be mentioning at this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteMan - Doug it's .............Cold.
I guess Al Gore and David Suzuki were right Fran. I did have another test for RA...and I have yet to see the outcome but I shall.
ReplyDeleteI love to push it Grammy. Not too much but one can not cease.
