I was at the campus the other day within the law library and ironically what I found is that any person whom has a 85% in Grade 12 automatically as of recent recieves a scholarship for the year. So they don't have to be "jocks".
That's excellent and as it should be. Here even if you have a 93.6% gpa like my daughter you don't get a scholarship and end up with having to pay the bill. It's insane.
We are the richest ironically Doug province in Canada right now due to diamonds, uranium, natural gas, potash, and nickel and gold. Here we have never yet tapped as much as what is mentioned with oil and natural gas. That all takes place within predominantly Alberta. Yet the scholarships are apart of this new things which has been within the planning for some time. I would not know what other provinces within Canada are doing but I found this to be tremendous. As it is based on the merit of the mind rather than muscle.
at my age am again starting to take my baby steps, Jack ... this time more focus and more adept to things seen and unseen ... am a tad kinder now to myself and more honest. tight hugs
So do I, music is almost everything for me, you can confirm with the amount of playlists I post in my Multiply. Music is a faithful companion in our joys and sorrows. Your teacher was right, music is an universal laguage that unites the world. I understood, pomme trees:) right? I'm leaving you one beautiful song, I love bossa nova and jazz, as you know, hope you enjoy Rosa Passos with Henri Salvador. Now I have to sleep, it's late by here: 10:53PM, bye Jack, have a nice monday! beijo.
DJ I took today and just made it half a day and I literally went hiking. But the library or a few places within the campus here are like a home to me. I love it there and I love the enthusiasm that goes along within the University.
