  2. Fanny Crosby's hymns. "To God Be The Glory" is one we sang Sunday. What an awesome lady she was, and left us with so many uplifting hymns. I also like Dolly Parton's rendition of "He's Alive" http://new.music.yahoo.com/dolly-parton/videos/view/hes-alive--2165116

  4. Actually I thought about this and I have to correct one song, The memory of "In the Garden" by my mother was the most beautiful, I can close my eyes and there she is singing that song. Maybe why it is so one of my favorites

  14. Thousands of just about every kind there has been, beginning perhaps with the 1600 hit parade like 'Courante'. Music is one thing you can take with you when you cross over. Just everything you have ever listened to and enjoyed. Same with books. About 12 years ago it must have been, I can recall adding a prayer that I may be allowed to take all my books and CD's with me. This was a time when some very strange things were happening. Looking for an explanation we popped in to a spiritualist service, - only 3 days after my little prayer. When it came to the demonstration, the medium came to me and told me exactly what I had whispered in private 3 days earlier and then said that she could see books all around me and they seemed to be reaching up to the sky.
