Yeah The Stars and Moon do Shine

Each and every night I do go outside and I gaze into the stars. I have done this nearly all my life. I will always have some thought that comes to mind, even if it's a word. This is not my own picture a friend allowed me to have it. Each and every night I will just look up into the stars and it's a reflection of many thoughts. Not negative but a evening summary within some way shape and form. The greatest philosophers looked up into the heavens and ponder so many things. And we still do it today but within it all there is that comfort of sorts that comes within that silent time within the evening. When everything is just calm and quiet. Perhaps the universe tells us something.

Regardless it's something that I have always done and the sun does rise and set but there is nothing like gazing up into the night skies. It's that time out period where one has to just enjoy and to embrace what is. For if there is one thing that we all do share is we all can look up within the evening sky and literally view the same Moon and stars.

It's rather universal...

  3. So very true, I love your thoughts and expressions. The moon does make us all feel a little bit closer as we can all look up and see the same moon. I understand it as I have done this many times in my life, even times when I have been so very alone, and I would look up to the moon and stars and wonder who else in the world was looking up gazing at the moon at that same moment I was.. Or when I see a shooting star fly across the sky, I would wonder who else besides me saw that magical moment... Thank you for sharing. :-) Have a blessed evening.

  6. When I moved back into Canada, I would always look up into the sky and think about a few of my good friends one which I consider as a brother and it is something that tends to be that time where there is a philosophical moment, one that you just are attune with all that has taken place within the day. We all are within a very small world and it's something I truly have done since I was a kid. A great eve to you there in Kansas.

  8. For myself it is literally rather a sacred time, and I have always maintained that we all are within a reflection of each other. But that self time and observance how many hundreds of year’s mankind has looked up into the night skies. You’re most welcome.

  9. We forget this is what all our ancestors would do in the night-time, wondering why that beautiful object was there and telling stories about it...you have a great knack for reminding us of what is universal. Thanks Jack.

  10. Hi Doug, they had less perhaps they found more within it all Doug. I love the earl of mornings and then now as the days are shorter there is nothing like just heading to the porch and gazing within the stars. We have so many things that we have at hand and then within the evening I can see other lights on it's obvious there are many that are writing on blogs and so on and that time out it's something I have always enjoyed. I think we all do find that time some more so than others but it's pretty much a routine for me, it's a summary of sorts...

  11. There is a certain peace within the night sky .... a calm peacefulness which kind of washes away all the stark realitities of the day .......
I am very much an early morning person and my best is waking whilest the sky is still speckled with stars and I can watch them fade into the light of day ...

  12. It's often cloud -covered here, but when it is clear, it is beautiful. It gives me an idea of the vastness of the universe and its Creator.

  13. There is Lynne, especially when you wake up at 3am and think it's the morning :). Oh you are well I am too but here I awoke for the second time thinking it was 6am....but there is a very peaceful significance within the sky at night. The irony is it's something we all do share I find. A good morning from here to there! :)

  15. Jack, My best friend in the whole world lives in Coatbridge, Scotland. She & I look at the moon everynight at our special time,,, And say: I see the moon and the moon sees me, the moon sees the one that I want to see. God Bless the moon, God Bless me, and please God Bless the one that I want to see.

  19. The night sky is mysterious and magical for me. Add a full moon and the mystery grows ... while a veil of peacefulness drops over me.
And in my smallness I become lost in the beauty of who I really am, energy, light, spirit, love. In that moment I am eternal.
