Have you been hit with a something where you go to your blog and then at the same time there seems to be another blog that has other input into your guest book? Seemingly this morning I had four different ones as well they were able to replicated my nickname on here. If so please do email me and as well indicate what is happening from your end as this seems to be some "open hole" within Multiply. As well any suggestions. I think right now I will wait for a while and thereafter call Multiply. I remember one friend named Mike indicating that one never wants to use the setting and send to everyone as they are leaving themselves open to what is known as replicators.
Do let me know when and if you have the time.

ReplyDeleteI sent them a message and awaiting a response....what I sent to multiply:
"Something is happening with replicating blogs what is your telephone number please, I have been a premium member for some three to four years...."
So it should work out I think there was a hole within there data base...
I think it's all rectified Maritess...

I contacted Multiply customer service this morning about my Guest Book problem. I haven't heard back yet but will soon. Customer service on here has been very helpful in the past
ReplyDeleteMy guest book has always been on private settings to contacts only so I have no idea how I got the comments I did this morning :( and 95 percent of my blogs and videos are on friends only

ReplyDeleteSomeone who used to be in our group site, set up multiple "ghost" Multiply sites (ghost avatars, no contacts) from which he invited himself as a member & posted very vitriolic comments about us, & also deleted blocks & blocks of his own stuff. It was difficult to 'catch' the avatar when he posted, but my brother got three links & reported the user to Multiply. We'd made copious complaints prior to this, but never even received the courtesy of a reply.

If this ever comes up, is there a way to phone them?
By the way, the names used were mildredpickle, rogerpickle, shakespeare2010, stevie, fredleeks, blithespirit, blakex, rapturexx, redfire. If you get anything like this, click the avatar right away which will take you to their site. Click 'abuse' at the right & make your complaint. You may have more luck than we did.
Our technical assistant administrator changed the setting, so he hasn't been back.

Lucija, I believe there is a number however I have only called it once sometime ago.
