Arrogance and Confidence

Please don't get me wrong as there is a very significant difference. I had the intention to write on this tonight however I find that I will come back to it. However it has nothing to do with the Olympics or blogs, but these two words do have a significantly different meaning.

Shall come back to it...

I came back to this today :)

  4. Arrogance - An overbearing sense of superiority, devoid of courtesy, feeling of entitlement to a particular position. All Talk mostly and rarely walking the talk. Most people dont trust an Arrogant person.

Confidence - A quiet trust in ones capacity to do or get through things. It stems from earning and keeping trust, walking the talk. A person with confidence rarely toots his trumpet, but everyone that the person is in contact with has respect for that person's ability.

  5. Yes you are right sattva2 smiles*

Confidence, when you know you're doing the right thing ... with respect. Another one not a product of the dictionary but comes from the heart that knows the true meaning of the word.

Tight hugs and good night Jack :)

  8. I like confidence based in reality, but do NOT like arrogance in any of its many forms.....by individuals or organizations or countries...as it is a form of bullying.
