The Horn Works

And that may not be enough as what I experienced yesterday, but that was then and this is now. I got the car back as well as the bill. When I received the call how quickly I was to head down and get it. The car was a steal of a deal before I moved here and then I have had a few problems with it but with all that has been done with it - it's like brand new. I had an inspection with it when I bought it and it has a sound engine and all but for some reason yesterday it the right front time almost completely fell off when I just arrived home.

After the bill and all, I know the garage owner and I could have been taken to the cleaners yet it was not cheap and I placed the bill in the glove compartment as I have a warranty on the work.

Now even though all the things were explained to me I admit that I don't know all that much with regards to vehicles. But what I do know is now it runs and there are no worries with it with the exception of the price of gas.

Some don't take care of there cars and just drive them into the ground where I really do take care of this machine but now and then I guess it's expected that at some point there will be something that goes wrong and here I had just done a oil change on it and thought that all was well as it passed the inspection - but you never know when something comes up. You just have to accept it and hopefully there is someone working on it that one can trust.

  2. Well I love her and she has done me justice after last year where I went through two cars and there was this italian gent in Edmonton that did sell me this after my van that hit black ice on the highway while en route to the airport so this one is special and it belonged to an older lady that only drove it to bingo!

  13. This post really hits home! Having 3 kids, all drive, I pretty much lost my car, so hubby bought me one. Knowing when you buy a used car, you KNOW you will be fixing this or that. I have no problems with that. So when the fuel rail started to leak, I found a Certified Mobile Mechanic, Licensed, and bonded. I thought, good job Hope. Ran it by hubby, he said go for it, and now I have two leaks in the fuel rail. Sigh. I am just grateful that I was not driving the car when the leak occured. Here in Arizona, driving a car in the heat with gas pouring onto engine, can lead to a really bad experience.
So glad you weren't driving when your car broke.

  14. Well I was as I was backing it in and that is when the ball joint and all went but it's working well now. It's the same here and things do happen and it's so hard to come back to these writes. However it's the same thing that takes place. Thank you...
