This weeks theme within Picture Perfect is Kurput. When I saw this last night I thought of several things one in which I actually went out and took but the picture did not come out that clear. So I choose this picture that I had posted just a while ago as it's the old band wagon and I am sure that there was a time in which it was used but now it just sits there non operable on the outskirts of the city.
So I thought this was probably the most fitting picture that I have within this theme.
How old do you think is that band wagon, Jack? Does it look like an antique?
ReplyDeleteAmy I have no idea I would think it's from the 50s...
ReplyDeleteI was told that in order to gauge the age of a band wagon, you look at the wheels..how the wheels were made.. I honestly can't see from here..it looks like from the late 40s. I could be mistaken Jack.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting old wagon. Such a shame it's been left to rot. It should be restored and put in a museum.

I agree Mitch I took it some time ago and it's exactly how I feel yet it's out there and you would think that someone would have restored it.

ReplyDeleteComin over and thanks Vicki.

ReplyDeletegiggles - this wagon is truly kaput, but in a way it is a piece of art !!
ReplyDeleteAnnette I literally went looking for something for this but I came back to this one it could be art but as Mitch said probably it would be nice to be restored in a museam.
ReplyDeleteSmiling with you as your picture was temendous just don't get so close to large animals!
Good choice, Jack. That wagon is not what you could call a "fixer-upper" at this point.

Yep, that fits all right! We passed by several wrecking yards today, but I wasn't fast enough with my camera while hubby is traveling at 70mph!!!
