I'm always of mixed emotions about painting utilitarian buildings like this. It is supposed to stop some of the graffitti though. I do like to see painted mailboxes and fire hydrants as they seem cheerful wee things especially amongst the urban blight.
You are lucky to have daylight that long, we are dark now at about 6:30. So it will be very nice to have light when I come home at night from the office.

ReplyDeleteKaryn, this was the first building they used to stop the graffitti and introduce art. Thereafter it took off, and it really did work.

ReplyDeleteAround now it does at 7:40 pm. Like Arizona this is the one province within Canada that does not do daylight savings. Not yet Lyn.
ReplyDeleteDanette, I don't have as good a camera but I shall, however it's not that cold I would say it's about 50F, but the nights are sill cold.
