Somewhere in the middle of winter changing into spring you have slush. Now I don’t know about you but then there is another stage. I am not sure what one could call it before it turns into flowing ponds.
I suppose it could be called mush?
Who knows….
Around here it is dust and more dust being stirred up by vehicles....it is the sand the public works crews put on the road for safety that hasn't been swept up yet.
ReplyDeleteMush - Mush...Roll on Spring, hey.
ReplyDeleteIt's not too far away for you now Jack....Hope your weekend there is a goody.
ReplyDeleteThat will come soon Denise.
Karyn you are where it's at. But yeah it's going to be awfully dirty for a while. No more time for washing the car pending if they sand or now.
ReplyDeleteHey Denise and the same to you...
ReplyDeleteThankyou Jack....Just taking it as it comes this weekend.

ReplyDeleteI know several people online who live in Canada.
Yes but I did not live here all my life....
ReplyDeleteThe little dots at the end of your statement lead me to think there's more to the story.

Beautiful pic, Jack! Just think of how green all that mush will have the grass soon!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Illinois in the frozen tundra, we had a mud season after the thaw.
ReplyDeleteSpring rains, even as cold as the one we're under today, fuel springtime -- and our natural springs at our homeplace. :) It's a beautiful cycle. We need to clean out the biggest spring and rig a reservoir there, so we can use it. Clean water... precious.
