Seems that things are working out. Today was the typical Monday. And nothing much took place, actually it seemed like a Sunday when I think about it. I left out tonight for a while and called a friend of mine that lives a few miles or many away.
We talked and then we left off with the intention that this summer that we were going to get together again. I do look forward to it.
Thereafter I talked for the first time in a long time to a online friend of mine that I have wrote about now and then and she is doing very well in Iraq, she is working and working and she is not concerned with anything in Iraq as it's much better for her now. Not kidding you she works for Reuters doing film development and seems all is just going fine.
Here are a few pictures she has done for the press. No fiction I assure you..
I just now noticed your quote from Lao Tzu....and awesome fellow....
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, now which is it? few or many LOL
ReplyDelete*kidding you*
went to the link...sad about the orphans
ReplyDeleteI copied it but I read much on I ching when I was a kid while studying Aikido - which is Japanese, Lao Tzu I saw on someones blog and I placed it on as he was a great philosopher. I read many of his books as at the age of 13 not kidding.
ReplyDeleteYeah literally we talked about it today. But most of all I have known here for more than seven years. But things are working out there and for her as well Danette.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear things are going well for your friend in Iraq.
ReplyDeleteIs Aikito similar to Hapkito? (not sure I am spelling that correctly).
He lives 4 hours away. In a place called Drumheller. I stayed in residence with him - we have been friends ever since....
ReplyDeleteYes, and Maynaji is a very endearing friend that once a month I will talk to by way of phone. The first time I met her she was scared and hiding in her home and then now all things are working out and she wishes and has applied to work in either Canada or the USA, as she now has a gateway. She was in Italy just a couple of month's ago. How things have changed for her, the children - well that is sad, but there is only so much on can do. The way I see it is that she is now working with reporters and getting the news out. I think that is good.
ReplyDeleteHapkido was a mix of really Tae Kwon Do and Aikido Norma,
ReplyDeleteWith Aikido there is no kicks it's a art that is something that is fluid and is just joint throws much like Judo, but Judo became a sport. Aikido has always stayed as an art. Young me at 17...
Thank you, Jack. I find the martial arts very interesting and have often wished we'd had credible instructors in my area.
ReplyDeleteNice photo.
