It's Actually Simple...

It’s a joy to see the various writings as I have over the past time. I have come to understand what the meaning of life is. And that meaning is all within each and every one of us. We blog and we write in a manner that only gives a portion of whom we are, we are within the era of a stream that never is complacent. We thrive to do things. We enjoy to write, and we enjoy to give our own opinions on things. This to me is what it’s about.

I have seen several people and know many from times before this multiply. And the one thing that I will never turn away from is being me. As I once mentioned within a quote – “I can’t touch you…” as your not near. But within the areas of life, this is one element of life that now and then there is something that touches someone in a meaningful manner.  Each of us has our own agendas, our own lives and yet we embark on our own thoughts or posts. Perhaps we don’t share as much but from within my contacts I can certainly say that within the balance of going my path I do share. And I have been touched by a variety of people. Regardless of gender, regardless of religion, and regardless of where we come from.

Being here counts. Being kind and considerate counts. Getting through each day without seriously offending anyone or hurting anyone counts.  Having the latest technology does not count as much. Sorry, I am not a downer on technology. In fact, I probably have pretty much the same amount as you. For myself I don’t rely on it, I find it interesting to write. Nothing more or less.

With all this technology doing something that is useful with one’s life does count. Regardless of what that may be. As each of us have our own way and that is something to be respected. We might not all connect in the exact same manner but that is how we learn different thoughts, tastes, and aspects of life. For myself focusing on what is important is a code of life. Making the positive changes that ensure that there is something good that can take place within this realm of technology.  We are awake we are not asleep. I am certain that we are not lucidly living. A term that is very relative to what has meaning within the balance of these times.

There are some things that are important in life and a whole lot of things that are not as important. It doesn’t take too much discrimination to work out which is which. And there are a whole lot more things in that don’t count, that are not as important. Which comes down to choices that we make in life. I’m certainly not saying we can’t have trivia within our lives.

As there is a gain in what we read and what we see.

I enjoyed that Jack. hope you didn't mind me dissecting your thoughts to fit my own.

  4. Smiling here as I literally am fortunate to have a family well more than just one connected within my blog.

  5. Dawn,The way I see it, imagine if all were sitting equally at a table. How we would come to know each other. For some there would be no difference and for some there would - fact of life.

  6. It pays to have "Company Manners", no?

  7. All considered I would say yes...I mean there are some I have known for a long time, and some I have never met. But with what your asking me, I think that for anyone on this planet, and on this earth - most definitely yes.

  8. You know many would think that we have talked on a messenger or on a phone! Where this lead to amazes me!

  9. I'm not sure of others, but sitting on the front porch engaging low key not-so-idle conversation is a long-time tradition of we Southerners. Otherwise life might be unbearable. We find edification, a kind of strength in sharing things. And we feel closer.

  10. I see a man and his wife, and a family, and relations that are abundant.

  11. There's nothing more meaningful in this world than family. Friends are often family, too.
    just pick them carefully ;o)

  12. Being a critical thinker, examining what is important and sharing---as we see fit---is part of meaningful living.

But sometimes...we need a little silliness, trivia, friviolity to survive the mundane...that's okay too---cause if it doesn't interest someone, they don't have to read or share in it.

    Different strokes for different folks...

  13. Well, the stroke of "the pen" is one that you we all do in our own way. Another day I will go on with what was to be about the change of weather but this all seemed to take a curve ball.

A good one if I may say. "Company Manners"... which are not my words really sums it all up.

  14. I agree with what Peach says. Different strokes and silliness and frivolity can be a useful thing too. Lots of serious things can be said with humor as well.

Company manners are good too. And generally best unless you're around people who know how to take the razzing and cutting up that can often happen.

  18. I just write and all that counts it freedom to be whom we are Ronnie...and I just get on here in the evenings more of the time. What counts is I do believe in the reciprocating effect. You do well to others and it may come back to you.
I wish to write as do you, and we do write in a manner that honestly you have impacted me when I have read your writings. I really don't know where to go with this one as I have been without a computer till today. All I can say which is totally out of this subject is that - the "MUSH" that has started, (smile), is delighted with the sun.
If it was summer right now on this day I would be at the sand dunes!

  19. I like to write also. It is almost an addiction. When I'm away I can't wait to get back. I learn a lot. That's also why I like to listen to CBC One and Two.

  20. I never know very far ahead when I'll be online, Jack -- sometimes only moments before posting. I do try, however, to keep something handy on the laptop for when I get a chance to put on an entry.

Yes, exactly, "do unto others as you would have them to do unto you" is a good solid piece of advice. I agree with it 100%.

Thank you for those kind words, Jack ("I wish to write as do you, and we do write in a manner that honestly you have impacted me when I have read your writings.") Perhaps someday I'll get published offline. As it is, I have only a story on one person's site (read by him) and a poem on another (read by me). I seldom post public-type settings, mostly because I'm careful, heh. Practice makes perfect, they say, so I practice a lot. All I can manage, at any hour, for as long as I can manage it.

We've had rain, cold rain, and lots of it. Oddly, the temperatures have gone up. I haven't checked the NOAA website yet, but I will before I leave. (We also have a weather radio for home use.) It's mush, of a sort, here too -- mud. In our case at home, laced generously with sand. No beach or dunes within hundreds of miles, though.

  21. I love it Karyn, but there has to be something that I value some idea comes and then I write on it. We are alike WI FI or not!

  22. Ditto Ronnie...I just saw you have a great writing there and I will try to get back to it as I was just there when I logged on.
I have yet to place a few other thing on the computer < got that one from you! :)
