How We See Things…

How I look at things now in comparison to every say six months ago.

We all have the ability to perceive things in a manner that is from some matter of thought. I looked over this write that I did last night and then tonight I thought to myself of how far in some areas things have changed for myself. It’s true that as we age it’s a natural thing that we have less of an opportunity to change.

Today, I had a call while waiting for my doctor's appointment. It was an old friend that works in the legislature and he and I came to know each other back when his 4 year old son was fighting cancer, and unfortunately passed away. But my uncle was governor general and the current gent that is our Premier (which is like a governor)...used to come into my office many of times before when I was based in a small town but was handling several other shopping centers at the time. Seemingly, although it has never been my avenue, there is some interest in my to do something that I don't know of as yet. But I still am waiting for this one position.

However, I have my own savings and I certain am sure if not certain that within that source that surrounds me, I will obtain something. Since then Greg has went on to do things that along with his wife have allowed them to get past things. It’s funny how I am seeing my friends that are coming out from earlier day and perhaps I had either been too busy with the situations that I was dealing with that placed my on the side line.

Aside of that, I talked to him while I was waiting for my doctors appointment and then I sat there looking at all the people and how it is that there are a variety of reasons of why they are there. Usually this place is packed up, as it is a medical clinic that pars few that are like it within the city.

I met with my doctor and she said that I was in good health and that she wished for a Ct scan with my legs but that does not stop me. In a day or two all my medical information will be transferred from Edmonton to my new doctor here. You would think that I have moved from another country, but Alberta has a two tier medical system, whereas in Saskatchewan there is only the socialized medical system. As, I had a very fast privately paid Ct scan that showed that I had degeneration as well as the need for an injection of a water-soluble substance not like cortisone but more like a jelly that lubricates the knees and provides a cushion. However that all said, it does not bother me much it only does when I over do it. So I know by way of this blood test that I had – I don’t have diabetes, I don’t have rheumatoid arthritis, I just have some undetected aches and pains! Hmm, I am aging.

But I really feel that you work along with the attributes that you have and when doing so you build around and create something that actually balances things out.

After I had my appointment then I went and found that there was a need to assist my folks with three different things.

I rarely have placed a picture here of them, but that man that has the walker is living proof of what the mind can do. He was hit with cancer and was given two weeks to live 8 years ago. Thereafter he had six mini strokes, as well he has only one functioning kidney. As for her, she is as well as she has been hit with cancer in which she received radiation. Most would falter and stagnate especially him. But he carries on and nowadays there are more of there friends that are calling them as they are being hit with something and now do understand what it is when something impact your health. As for each one of us, health does matter.

The one thing that I can say is which might be something worth considering is that when we begin to change the way we see things, then the things that we see begin to change.

Just think about that.

There is more to it than what is within the lines.

  1. Yes there is more to it than what we initially see. Good that you got a healthy report and can move forward with your plans with this new MD. Your reconnecting with old friends is nice, sometimes it is good to have a history. When you moved away, people only knew what you chose to tell them. Now you can show the others how much you have changed or not.

  2. Lyn, your very correct, but what I have learned is that some people have stayed in one place most all of there lives, while I did not stay in one place as my work did not allow that option. But now I am staying in one place and rekindling those friends from long ago. But this is the land I stand on and with all things taken into consideration (even the snow) it's really how you look at things. If you see things and embrace them, somehow there is a rate or return effect - without the need to even consider it. As it just is an area of a mindset I would suppose.

I see places that are so interesting, I mean really I am not a fan of the snow. But all things come in good time.

  6. Likewise with your own and I just enjoy it without being anything but substantial within expression. As I think it's a tremendous commodity as well as Jen. I have known you as a friend for a long time. I have always loved the creative side of really truthful expression.
As I think you will recall and remember from Y360, I had the theme titled - Why Not...

  7. These two raised me and within it all I am single, and have no children and I am not looking for "chicks online", my merits are in what I believe in and respect with others. As well especially these two.
