There are so many things that I am looking ahead to. Sure it's winter here and the past year was a learned lesson, but I gained from it. You can't control things in life but you can accept them and move on.
Most of all within the very near future I am looking to see the next President of the United States being sworn in. It's going to be history in the making and it might be one day that many of us look celebrate in our own manner.
Would it be tremendous to be there, well to just see it on television is going to be good enough for me. And I am sure that many will be around the globe.
As it does not matter where you come from nor where your born. All that matters is where your head is at.
Very well said.
ReplyDeleteAmen on that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessed day in History to see the First Black President in the United States sworn in..I will be there watching it on TV..still brings tears to my eyes to see this day!
ReplyDelete"Move on" is the key, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSame with everyone, I do antipicate the swearing in of the 44th President of the United States..a history in the making.
Cheers to you!
It's my own and I have used it many of times. Within my own small world as each of us does have there on sphere of what has happened in the past as well as what is in the moment - an then the future....they all are interconnected. My own thoughts here Lynn and where I wish to be on Saturday is right in front of my television watching something that will be history. It will be something that surpasses what my parents, grand parents have ever seen take place in there life. These times we live in are times that I often wonder how they will go down in history.
ReplyDeleteJanuary 10th will be a day that goes down in history. One that leaves power and should have been impeached along with his vice president. And a new man that represents so many things. He kind of is devine intervention to the international world. Yet I think he will be able to do only so much. But it's change and we need the change internationally...
Yes, this is so true and it's not due to his being black. Well yes it is it's that and much more as it does represent something. And to be very frank I look like shrek but I find that there are so many commonalities between the two of us but I don't live in Chicago, I have been there and I have a friend that works at Perdu. Hey where have you been?
ReplyDeleteWithin it all what he risks is what reveals what he values. The value of life is something that each one of us does take some risk of some sort each and everyday regardless of how large or how small.
ReplyDeleteCheers Jack, moving on is the way to go for sure-- I too am looking fwd to seeing the swearing in of Mr Obama. I feel he will make many changes for the better .
ReplyDeleteThe politics of a campaign are over I think we all are happy with that and that will be one day in time that will be very worthwhile. I am going to record it. As it's history in the making and good new future that will come to be a historical moment that people will look back on for decades I believe.
ReplyDeleteSame here.... you, like the rest of us, must be feeling a 'quickening' into the most-often talked about 'one-ness' in hearts, mind and spirit. This 'change' is just one among the many that we're going to witness in our lifetime.
ReplyDeleteI do think so...certainly we share our own thoughts but the ensemble of people that have good intentions and some merit...I feel very comfortable in writing. I enjoy writing my own thoughts and sharing - I think that is obvious but the one that is just dedicated to this scenario or internalized thought, it's brings up wall. Perhaps these are the times in which we begin to realize that we all are inter connected in a sense and what we risk reveals what can be co created in so many manners of life. Change stands for so many things. Most of all change is good. And a regard to others is decent.
