Thoughts and Small Pleasures

I am not sure why somethings happen, but they do and I have returned back to a city that I loved.

It’s where my family resides and I had some situations going on with a old friend of mine back one year and some that effected several things that I was doing.
A humbling experience – yes.

I learned and I am not bitter about it as all I know is that I can and will go forward.  So I aspire for the future and for those of you that have sent a something by way of mail, I am no longer at that address. I moved. Honestly I made a move and now have to get another half of my belongings back.

As I will...

However, on another topic it’s been so cold in Western Canada. Hopefully all will change and the weather will return back to a normal climate for this time of year. Today I had to take my main frame in and right off there were a few that were offering a boost as it's cold, so cold. So I feel back to myself rather than dealing with situations that are or were not of worth with an old friend that after hearing his wife, I can say that he probably did do all that he was doing to her and my offline friends that are here in Canada said to get out of the situation.

I did and I feel that I am back to being whom I am. I am not catering to someone that played it like I have never seen before. Was I bitter - oh I was depressed for nearly half a year dealing all of this but I was not about to write about it.

Moving from that I feel comfortable in writing and being back in a city called Saskatoon. I never said that before as I really did not wish for everyone to know where I lived earlier. Sometimes one can be a tad paranoid on the internet as there was a time I had calls coming from all over, and there is a fine line as to what you wish to write, and whom is watching it.

For myself if I may say, I feel so much different in comparision to living in a city called Edmonton.

  1. We learn, we grow and we keep going on... cutting our losses and looking ahead. Hang in there, Jack---hope you got your snowshoes!

  2. GA, I was out there from 8am and I have to tell you you bundle up and everyone wears head wear and it's not a stylish time. I cut the loss and I am glad I did. There is a natural bitterness, but that has passed. I am looking ahead, and I realize my placement, and I know what I have to do for now and the future. And I have four different snow shoes I do wear....:).

  3. There is an old saying that goes, "Things are the way they are because they were th way they were." It sounds simplistic but there is deep truth there. A butterfly flaps its wings in Asia and we have a wind storm in Canada. All things are connected and if we wish to see why we are where we are we must look carefully at the past.

It is not too cold here but they are predicting a blizzard - 20 cm of snow behind 80 kph winds and from the looks outside, it has started. Brrrrr.

  4. I know what you mean. And I have always had that feel with things and now it's back to a normality. Kal your province has never been hit with so much snow as this year. Here we got both. But the air is clean and you can breath.
