A Chilly Night Video.avi

I listened to this and the batteries were going down and I sound rather nasal but I was out this evening after many other things. I went out right after ordering Chinese food and I was looking to share how cold it is.

I wanted to get on a transit here and show as real as it can be shown of what this weather is like but once again my camera was going down. This gives you some vantage as to where I live and what it's like at this time of the year. Other part of Canada are different in comparison to two provinces that of Saskatchewan and Alberta.

The city as known as "the city of bridges" and this was one of them that connects the west side of the city to the east side.

  3. In time but in the summer - it's entirely different it's so nice and it does get hot as here the climate is one that is further south and Janie, I don't honestly know how this came out yet but I had three videos one which I was taking while I was driving and I wish I could have stopped everything and got out of my car, and taken a picture within a still frame to show the exhaust that comes out of the cars as we all plug are cars in unless you are in a condo that has underground parking that is the way in which so many are being built now. And the mist from the river I walked half way down and by the time I got to a certain point I knew my camera was going to freeze again. But that gives you an idea of the weather...

  4. When I get the chance Cyn I will as I will during the summer I always have my camera on in the car, but this is the season that one can't do that as the batteries on mine will not withstand.
Wish to mention the President Elect is coming to Canada shortly for a visit...

  7. Verley,

In Western Canada we get hit the hardest during the months of mid December through till the end of January - usually. Thereafter, it "softens" up. All that I can say is that it builds character, or we are just crazy, but we make the best of it. I often think about how my grandfathers especially the one on my mothers side as he was a farmer and how they were able to live all in one very small house and all the kids slept together side by side just too keep warm. So in our modern era it's taking a vitamin D, and living with some of the advantages of modernization. Mainly one thing called heat, and dressing up warm at night if you do go out...

The pictures I thought I would be able to take more but no way ....

  8. G'day Jack,
All I can say is it takes a lot more nerve than I have to go outside in that sort if temperature, especially if it wasn't an emergency lol

  9. Wendy, It has been this way for the past few days - now it warmed up as of this Thursday but we have a blizzard going on and it's nearly five here. Right now it's needs and wants for me but in time I am getting a much better camera. As a hobby regardless - I love photography...and something creative.
Yeah it does take a little nerve but it's fun....but right now I am not looking to do this for a while - not till things settle down with the weather.
