I have cleaned up my blog

I decided to make some changes with this blog. I do believe in privacy of what one wishes to say. There were several different blanks blogs on this and without a disregard to anyone by my own choice I have set things into place where I this is a place where one can write without it going onto google (as it does). And I am not wishing to write to the entire world.

I think that makes for a decent manner in which to write. I don't wish on muliply for everything that I write to be seen by the entire network on the internet - some do - I don't. I have always found the to me a meaning full manner of trust and writing in a manner that you desire.

I know by way of chatting very little people in here so I have made that choice.

  1. I agree, I don't like writing to the entire world either, but if you post for your contacts only that won't happen, Have a lovely weekend.

  2. I had no idea our blogs on here went out to the entire internet. I knew if they weren't marked as private, or contacts only, that folks in the Multiply network could see them. Since I don't do any serious writing on my blogs, I tend to leave them public. I think that's one of the neat things about all the blogs, we get to choose who gets to see what, as well as our content (within reason). Hope your weekend is going well!

  5. That's what I like about multiply. I have the option to either post my stuff for everybody's viewing or only for those I trust here.

  6. Another agree and didn't know! I share personal experiences as well as original poetry and stories in my blog that I really don't intend the globe to see.

How did you set it up to block that sort of thing?

  7. I do understand. Rapturousred, we should be able to set up each individual post so that if we have anything we feel worth sharing with the entire planet, we can, but more private matters can be tagged to only appear for our friends, or even a few of our friends, or even one.
I know that plenty of people have had problems at work or at home for things posted on the internet, so it is highly recommended you only post for a limited audience.
    lots of luv~c

  8. Rapturous if you take your account and google it you will see that it's right there in open space. So I looked at this blog and then decided to clean it off as there are some that I have no idea whom they are only by way of the writings.

  9. 360 blogs can be seen on google too, if you have them open to the public

  10. If I were to ever decide to post serious writings on either of the blogs, I would definately change my settings to "contacts only."

  11. One of the advantage of multiply is that each blog's audiences can be individually set up, even after a defaut has alreday been put in place. Thusly, for private entries, the audience limited to even just one. This individual setting up can be done at the time of posting a blog or by way of edit. I suppose, when the entries is open for public, it can also be access by google. The level of privacy we wish for is entirely on us.

    All the best, Jack.
