Last Thursday I was driving and my vehicle completely went on me. So here I am in a new city - I live on the outskirts of the city in a rather new development. It's been no luxury and as well during this time of the year my legs went on me. I don't now why so here I have a doctor that I finally found and I have appointments to go into a hospital and have my legs tested and then injected with a substance. And today I just said screw it I am going to go for a long walk. I dressed up went out. I have been couped up here for the past five days and I will tell you it's been the hardest thing that I have done.
I am just accepting things right now and trying not to get overwhelmed with it all as I am waiting to see if there is a way with the engine that cracked or if it's time for a new vehicle. When I think of all these expenses as well it's overwhelming.
I suppose there is a will and a way. As I am just waiting to see what happens.
I hope your legs work better now..they could be coming from back issues though. Regards.
ReplyDeleteHoping your legs fee better soon...it's hard too when our vechiles go on us too...hopefully everything will be back to normal soon...
ReplyDeleteUgh, cars. They always pick the worst of times to go kaput. I hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteah I wish for your legs to better and your car to quit
ReplyDeleteonly so you can get a new one
at a great price of course! ;-)
Ouch, a cracked block is pretty serious. Hope all goes well with your legs and they are feeling better soon. When it rains it pours, eh, amigo?
ReplyDeleteI hope the legs are better now, Jack.
ReplyDeleteI remember a time when I was pregnant with my son (he died twelve hours after birth) when I slid and I strove too hard to break my fall by trying to twist my body around. The strain was on my left knee when I landed and it took me days to walk without a visible limp.
Hope you feel better soon. The walk his probably not the best remedy for you at this time, although I can understand that it is difficult to stay home for so long. Maybe swimming would be a better exercise... I suppose you will need the car to get to the pool... so as the Keys to the Secret suggest, you have to "order" the universe to get you a reliable vehicle immediately, at a cost that is satisfactory to you and to all parties involved (may it be the mechanic, a neighbour or a car dealer). It is time to prove that it works. Just try...
ReplyDeleteG'day Jack,
ReplyDeleteWell the only way to fix problems is to attend to them one at a time, I feel you to be a methodical man, so no doubt you have it all under control one way or another, you just have to keep the faith & all in good time it will be sorted car, legs & anything else that has come your way, just think by then you will be worring because you have nothing to worry about, We are with you
Oh, I totally sympathize when it comes to anything automotive! I hope it all works out , and in the most inexpensive way.
ReplyDeleteyes this is something that I am sorting as not till yesterday did I find that it's time for another car. And without that I can't get anywhere as there is no transit to anywhere and as well I don't have any friends here in this new city that I can call upon. Next week I have my legs attended to this took place last year at this time and we shall see how things go.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.
