The Trail of Discovery

The Trail of Discovery

View the path

All straight and crooked

A hidden energy seemingly pulling

At a speed just barely visible

Yet vast within the array

 Discover the air about

Fluidly as it all blends

Against a soothing surface

Find the tangle of small willows

With leaning reflections

And there too the stones

Ahead on the bank

Slight movements

Gently mirror the way

With colors of vastness

All within an array

Fulfillment flourishes

Within the the glides of green

Where water meets air

Within the climate of the calm

See the swallows

Skimming along the water's surface

Twisting their narrow wings as they rise

Without a thought nor surprise

 Encompassed with robust depths

From within and beyond

Within the find of oneness

All encompassed without reprise

For there lays the foundation

Within the trail of discovery

All encompassed

These Souls of Splendor

Everyone has there own merits - mine probably is that I it's a creative outlet - combined with the
merit of honesty. Not so virtual is what I am getting at.

  10. YAY....all straight and crooked. All encompassed. I enjoy poetry...and my fave of late is, "the peace of wild things..." I've been feeling the bite to write a poem. The type of poetry animal I am has to be moved by the truth feelings tell...share and show. I wonder if true poets bleed like this in every poem? They must. We must....

  11. Most of my "poems" are from a lyrical base. Poets don't all bleed yet there is more of an expression within
    the context.

  12. I recall reading this one when requested as there what an emphasis within
    vocals to the words.
