The Tenacious Secretary of State

Two summers ago in announcing the end of the combat operations in Iraq, President Obama told the United States it was time for America to devote itself to problems at home.  At the first glance, his speech seemed exceptional.  Nevertheless, it left one high-ranking American official privately uneasy.  That person’s name is Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State.  From what she took into account from former aides - which had served within the position, Obama’s speech may be overly interpreted and inclined to be sending wrong message.  She thought the address as a in apt.  From the meaning of President Obama’s speech,

The United States was relinquishing its role as the worlds’ dominant power. Which was in contradiction to the global manner which America would pursue international relations.  Eight days later, she would deliver her own speech. Those two speeches managed to capture the subtle contrasts of outlooks between Obama and Clinton.

Behind the scenes, the irony that I find is that Hillary had lost the Democratic presidential nomination to Obama.  Primarily due to the liberal image which the Democratic placed together within its platform.  Hillary was type casted as a stern traditionalist.  This was in contrast to the foreign policies, which were adapted by the Democrats - as advised by Senator Pelusi.  In short term, Hillary would place out her own speech.  The irony was subtle yet the contrast was two very different outlooks in the aftermath of Iraq.  Clinton’s views have not changed within the three years while holding the position of Secretary of State.  As at this time, there is a strong relation and respect between Obama and Clinton.  I would tend to think that Obama is more reliant and open minded to the decisive rather than some in which have been within his caucus.  As you never hear either party criticize her.  This leads me to believe that Hillary’s work does not have much leverage from which to criticize from either side of the coin in Washington.  That's the Clinton and Democratic Advantage.

Hillary’s various speaking engagements as well as meetings abroad focus more on a new American movement where the nation is laying down a long lasting American foundation for years to come.  Ironically, Mitt Romney has borrowed several of Senator Clinton’s ideals.  One, which was his first campaigning platform, titled; “This is an American Moment”.

There is no question that that there are differences within the emphasis between the President and the Secretary of State. This might be a reflection to their underlying outlooks and roles within governing.

President Obama views himself as an instrument of change.  Whereas Hillary Clinton forms the equation.  Formulating while in the pursuit of seeking continued strength while based with a traditional denominator.  The two former rivals have worked together surprisingly smoothly.  A rather good combination between these two within Washington, D.C.

  2. It's truly the manner these two have come to be. If Obama made any changes it would be to place this fine
lady which I find has become better with time to be his running mate. Ironically they were competitive and now
the two have disagreements but make for a great combination. Who would have ever thought within America?

  3. Disagreement in certain issues is good. In those we see what is best solutions to the problems rather than agreeing without finding the underlying outcomes that could jeopardize the entire government their governing.

I didn't edited anything from what was previously written up, it's my arrow key that unitentionally misplaced. thanks Jack

  4. I would love to see Hillary run for president after Obama's term is over in 4 more years. but I think its tough for a woman to be running for the highest office...too much stigma attached to the female sex as it is to a black man being our president. Look what our congress and the governors of some states are trying to do to the female...they want to tell us what to do with our bodies...and its none of their frigging business what happens to us or what we want done or not done... chauvinistic pigs!

  5. I truly do believe that she could be the first President if she wished to however I think after the wiki leaks she plans to retire after this term which shall be a large loss for the Obama. Yet this is a story where the in 2008 the ticket included Clinton and Obama. I don't think it was her gender Marty there have been leader which are women in other countries - The UK, Germany, Canada, etc. What I like most of all pertaining to Sen. Clinton is how she has come to really be the silent vice president while doing all the ground work within international affairs. When I see her now - I see someone which seems to carry a respect internationally as well as within both parties in America. Yet she has that poise which would have qualified her if she wished to run. I must admit that I do like what she has done as a Govenor and as probably one of the most influencial people in Washington.

At times she can be intense but she has the ideology and the makings of a great leader. it's evedent within what she has done and doing.

  9. She has come into her own in many ways:

I myself like the natural look she has now and there is much to be said of
Senator Clinton in comparison to many which are within the political platform.

  11. Within the last six months I believe Hillary is one which has done
more good and her character is that of a wise person. I enjoy the
no image quality about her. As what is prevalent is what she does
rather than what she looks like.
Frankly, I think she looks better now.

  13. She certainly had. When I write pertaining to areas which are of this nature, it's not the same as to the right you see Canada yet as you know I can write
on a land which I love and this was a topic as such. It's really more of the person. As I find that Hillary is a tremendously wise person which has afforded
America. As well Hillary has afforded a cree if you will. There is something to be said for that.
