So this is December...

I can't even begin to think of all that has taken place within the year. There is so much and yet it's been a different one I shall say that. The change seems to take me to another area. I would love to place it all down especially the last quarter of this year yet I am that silly camper of which seemingly does get some rather different things.

This is the beginning of the last month of this year. Man I could write and write of all which has happened. Yet there is something to be said to just being silent. Yet it is what it is and in no manner do I wish to offend anyone. Let me do a cop out and say it's due to one tooth.

But it is that season and some do have favorite songs. The merit of what we celebrated is that which is apart of what makes the tradition a valid one. One of peace, joy as well as a little more.

Who would ever think that this is the dawn of a new month that of December. This year certainly has gone by so fast.

Just a Thought

That was yesterday and I do take a good look at myself and as well as those of which are as friend. It's a blog and there are so many misunderstandings I guess that is why I only chat with a few or for that matter call some long distance. As there are and is common things of which to share as friends.

I am only one person and I don't play people on this thing but I could if I wish share a few things. I factor within the good and not within the seperation and division which comes within here and I am sure if you were within my shoes you would feel the same.

The gain within here is within the alliances within that free lance manner. Yet prejudiced shall always reside amongst .........some.

Tee if you wish to say something say it don't do that pm as you do.

Those whom play a role withn PP keep it to PP....

Choices are those to Behold

There shall always be a slight misunderstanding and you just have to roll with the punches or the pinkies. Yet this is the season of that to be jolly of has jolly come to find it's way out of the equation? I would hope not. Sure I shall say something now and then and amongst those of which we call friends we do find that what is within today does not follow within tomorrow. Being objective can come across wrong but within this time I have found more worth within the send and the regard to those of which are friends. Yes friends on a blog I think that most of us are able to rise above it all and just chalk some thing up to another time.

Those of which I have wrote too as well as those of which I have made remarks are part and parcel. As I have always mentioned it would be all to neat meet.

The good within this is within the understanding and within that time one takes to read anothers post. I shall at times state things as I see them as it's within my own blog and there will always be that misunderstanding. Arrogance it's not the place nor time for me. To be able to write to others without regressive thoughts but within that tune where one is attune to another is what I find it's all about.

Everyone has there own agenda - who's to say there is anything wrong with that. I will never be on the defence as if there is something which comes across within a manner which is not the likes of some. So be it. You can't please yet there can be that enjoyment of sharing within the real.

Perhaps that is why I enjoy music on here as there are those of which work within shades of grey - but heck it's the holiday season. I would rather enjoy the shares with enjoyment not with dessention. And music seems to be the likes of that.

We move and we notice that of which we enjoy and there is something within sound which does seem to express it much better. Yet there is one word of which I carry to those which I know as friend and that is respect and the reciprocating effect.

Life is much to short to waiver on those in which you do have a relation with as a friend.

Is there anything new?

I have been busy and then busier.  I have not taken any pictures or otherwise. But I have been rather focused on some things outside of multiply. I can say that it's rather neat to arrive back in here when your away for a few days. I have had one tooth extraction as well I am coming close to having my knees finally done.

Remember that old phrase, "son of a gun" - I am not sure where it came from but there are time where you just wish everything could be done within one day. Yet it does not go as fast as one would like yet before the end of this month I do hope that everything is done.

Mind you I have got somethings done. Organized business man there is something to be said with the manner of some organizations yet, what I have always found that at the end of the day someone is scratching their head and I am not talking about Trizec, the Bronfmans, Suncor, but just within it all.

My banter being "the son of a gun".

Whom am I to Judge - do believe within Love.

It is a catch up time but that shall come with time please not I have not been on here for good reason. Peace to you and to all.

~ It All Bends ~

It's hard to believe that the day has come and gone. I would surmise that it's all within a day that has come and gone. Meanwhile I have thought of onions believe it or not as I am thinking of some sort of a theme to place with this cd.

Creative I guess I am and I love that. If someone was to take creativity away - although it can't be measured it's that nastolgic area of which one can work along with. I have been thinking of titles as well as covers for something in which I endeavored with musically. I don't have the songs as they are all still being remastered. I am not sure if that is good as sometime the best is within the raw of things - what I mean is that nothing is perfect but they just come out as they are.

For those whom have seen some of the old pictures - there is something to be said within music. I believe it's not a reflex - it's more of a thought which streems within lyrical content.  There are a variety of songs which I have done and no I am not un affilliated with this recording studio. Anything but. Yet for some reason within the mist of winter I thought of onions.

So often what I find is that that something just comes to me and then it seems to be it. Today as I was leaving a restaurant within the morning I saw something and for some reason I just knew that this was right on the mark. I shall take my time with this but within the area of creativity. I don't move afar from what I feel is just there.

There are many names I could place yet it's all within the creative process. Or perhaps I should say the process is within the creativitity.  Yet at the end of it all something clicks and as so many times before, I shall say, "Yeah I got it". Within this area of particular I don't think nor ever have thought too much. As within the past it seemingly has worked. At this stage of my life can it? This is where one has to either give up those silly thoughts of what can and can't be.

We all are living our lives and is compromise apart of it? One knows that there is always the opportunity of something sucessful or something which fails yet failure within the manner that I view it is apart of success. I don't wish to be a star yet one does desire to render something which is worth it.

Yet I saw this plant and right then and there I knew,

I knew that this term, "That It All Bends", seemed to be very fit like a glove.

We shall see

What matters is the depth and real versions of onself. One can't be converted into 2.0. Human beings do human doings.

Coming Up

Aside of winter at this time I enjoy a fine brunch along with a friend of mine. Yes this is the weekend of which when your up early it may be a good thing to take a step aside and just enjoy.

Allot of My Favorites

Taking pictures in New York City

These are many and although I have not watermarked them. I have no problem with sharing them. These pictures aside of a few cover such a large span. Within the places of which I have been. From New York City, Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal, Saskatoon, and Syracuse.

There is a variety of people within this - those of which are near and some which are afar. I thought when I arrived home here that I would share some of these as yes every picture has a story. Yet sometimes the picture does explain itself within it's own manner.

Not one picture within these are not that of my own which was taken. That I assure you.

And yes it is a small world after all.

Within Life as well as Pleasure

There are some that are within that weekend celebration and then there are those which pending where they are do have that factor of the intention of good. Good I am not sure what good means within this time but I would surmise that good is within the souls and hearts of many. Some are very quick to think something as we don't wish to indicated that we are random souls that render a manner of substance. Substance is that of which is of the likes of love. Yet even that all said some come to the keyboard and write as they please and then there are those of which you know there is that feel.

So many songs do come to mind, yet each and everyone has there own agenda. But within the "the Look of Love" there is that smile, it's one that carries on, even when frozen smiles collide. I have always loved the songs of the oldies.

There was something more to them - mind you there are new songs wish come about and I probably am the king of thoughts "within a dream of a long time ago". There even is a reference to that song yet...yet it's all within one. One's own encounters and how they feel. To each thier own yet just maybe there is something inwhich we all do share.

We are one but as well we do have the merit of the stream of that which does bring that feeling - not by one but by many as this earth is much too large to just be that of people which hate.

"Where there is love there is light, and it certainly is relevant."

I can't buy it yet I love the theme of it.

Within Open eyes there is something of which is of worth. Regardless of where we are and were we reside.

Last Session Recordings

As I am finished within it all with the exception of one last thing.
I had the intentions to have some pleasure with doing some of
my own recordings and as well I shall within the new year.

Mind you with the recordings and a few documentaries which
I wished to do. Within the new year - I hope to have them all
completed.

It has been a creative work within process.

Keep Safe While Driving

I was just coming in town and while I was leaving the Airport I ran within this accident. It was a man on a scooter or I think they call them that. Within a very now populated Intersection. Apparently the man was just driving straight as here again I was at this
Intersection within the aftermath.
My cell again had gone on me so there was a lady in the car to my left and I asked her to call 911.

I never wish to get involved unless it's necessary - yet I could see that there were many which were at the street side which were trying to attend to what was a man which was on a scooter as he had some disabilities. I will never get too involved unless it happens
within the seconds and I am apart of it - yet I wasn’t.

All I cold see was some civilians which were trying to help - where they were not qualified.

Again this happened so fast that once this lady next to me at the intersection had made the call you could hear sirens immediately in response.Combined with others. Within minutes at the best 4 minutes the man, which probably did have or should have had someone around or with him - did not take into consideration the
amount of traffic.

This one is probably going to make the news tonight here within my city as their is a at question by many within the city to those whom are within the municipality. City Hall has been fast yet even since the times of which I had to address things as a builder. The felling was there that of a shrug of the shoulder. Now many years later you would think that these areas, which are in a rapid building of new streets as well as walk way paths would "surface" far faster.

Yet, I will admit that this is not they typical area where people walk or catch the bus, this very well was a from what I could see a different situation as the man within this scooter was taking a path to “nowhere”.

As It's not a typically intersection as it's just on the outskirts of the northwest end of the city. The results were a man whom was driving forward on a green light and for whatever reason, which I don’t know – the collision was one between him and a man on a scooter.

Yet there is much to be said as to how fast there was a response from this ladies call at the intersection. Mind you there were many surveillance cameras at this intersections.

I ponder whom watches them and if they are a service or waste of taxpayers monies. As whom ever was watching or supposed to be whatching was either on a coffee break and all that I can conclude with is that if it were not for cell phones - this man might have been there for hours rather than minutes.

Traditions do relinquish that of what we believe in without a thought of what is other that to be thankful for.... turkey, pumpkin pie and most of all family friends and you can’t leave out the stuffing. A Happy Thanks Giving to those, which are within the United States of America. The lady of Liberty stands with a smile.

Thanks Giving

Perhaps this year it's taken on a new meaning. I think of these two words - Thanks and Giving. Although up here we celebrate it within October I find that there are some things which are very apparent within the stream of America. It's that of this occasion, if there is one thing which never leaves the spirit within America it's the occasions of celebration. I remember and understand it well. And I will admit that it's a day that is of worth a bring about more than any rallies or politics but it's simply Thanksgiving time.

I do believe that there is a tremendous area within this holiday as aside of all that goes on within the world America is that of people which do celebrate traditions within a manner that give more meaning than just the "gobble - gobble" of the turkey. It is time where family and friends come together. If you ask me there is no country which celebrated this holiday within a manner of which is thankful.

To the left there are those whom may find it a hard time as holidays often do bring about something which some do feel down with. That is natural if you ask me.

Then there are those which have a rooted home bound meaning within all of this. What couldn't be better than to have all family and calls made from the day before to the very occasion.

Yes there are several countries which celebrate this time - yet from a distance now I have never seen the likes of the celebrations of Thanksgiving. I don't wish to dig back into the times which I have celebrated Thanksgiving within my own experience but I do wish everyone a very good one. Within the times of which we live there are the occasions such as this which make Thanksgiving a value within a society which is that which does not change the values of meaning within this time but more so reinforces it. Thus it's that time which sales are up, now that is good. Sure we can look at the things which are not. But within this traditional time I will be calling some friends as well I can smell the kitchens of those that are just a baking. And what I find is that there are these occasions which just bring about the value of what is red, white and blue.

Yet more so within a manner of a culture of a country which renders the essentials of what brought about things to be thank full for. Traditional occasions are not just within the turkey within America at this time of the year. They are literally within that harmony. From afar I do wish each and everyone within what I see as the great old USA a very Happy Thanksgiving. With that all said I would love to share a poem with you that are from the United States.

The Thanksgivings

  Harriet Maxwell Converse
Translated from a traditional Iroquois Prayer

We who are here present thank the Great Spirit that we are here
          to praise Him.
We thank Him that He has created men and women, and ordered
that these beings shall always be living to multiply the earth.
We thank Him for making the earth and giving these beings its products
          to live on.
We thank Him for the water that comes out of the earth and runs
          for our lands.
We thank Him for all the animals on the earth.
We thank Him for certain timbers that grow and have fluids coming
          from them for us all.
We thank Him for the branches of the trees that grow shadows
          for our shelter.
We thank Him for the beings that come from the west, the thunder
and lightning that water the earth.
We thank Him for the light which we call our oldest brother, the sun
          that works for our good.
We thank Him for all the fruits that grow on the trees and vines.
We thank Him for his goodness in making the forests, and thank
          all its trees.
We thank Him for the darkness that gives us rest, and for the kind Being
of the darkness that gives us light, the moon.
We thank Him for the bright spots in the skies that give us signs,
          the stars.
We give Him thanks for our supporters, who had charge of our harvests.
We give thanks that the voice of the Great Spirit can still be heard
          through the words of Ga-ne-o-di-o.
We thank the Great Spirit that we have the privilege of this pleasant
          occasion.
We give thanks for the persons who can sing the Great Spirit's music,
and hope they will be privileged to continue in his faith.
We thank the Great Spirit for all the persons who perform the ceremonies
          on this occasion.

As well,

The Pumpkin
by John Greenleaf Whittier
Oh, greenly and fair in the lands of the sun,
The vines of the gourd and the rich melon run,
And the rock and the tree and the cottage enfold,
With broad leaves all greenness and blossoms all gold,
Like that which o'er Nineveh's prophet once grew,
While he waited to know that his warning was true,
And longed for the storm-cloud, and listened in vain
For the rush of the whirlwind and red fire-rain.

On the banks of the Xenil the dark Spanish maiden
Comes up with the fruit of the tangled vine laden;
And the Creole of Cuba laughs out to behold
Through orange-leaves shining the broad spheres of gold;
Yet with dearer delight from his home in the North,
On the fields of his harvest the Yankee looks forth,
Where crook-necks are coiling and yellow fruit shines,
And the sun of September melts down on his vines.

Ah! on Thanksgiving day, when from East and from West,
From North and from South comes the pilgrim and guest;
When the gray-haired New Englander sees round his board
The old broken links of affection restored;
When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more,
And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before;
What moistens the lip and what brightens the eye,
What calls back the past, like the rich Pumpkin pie?

Oh, fruit loved of boyhood! the old days recalling,
When wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling!
When wild, ugly faces we carved in its skin,
Glaring out through the dark with a candle within!
When we laughed round the corn-heap, with hearts all in tune,
Our chair a broad pumpkin, -- our lantern the moon,
Telling tales of the fairy who travelled like steam
In a pumpkin-shell coach, with two rats for her team!

Then thanks for thy present! none sweeter or better
E'er smoked from an oven or circled a platter!
Fairer hands never wrought at a pastry more fine,
Brighter eyes never watched o'er its baking, than thine!
And the prayer, which my mouth is too full to express,
Swells my heart that thy shadow may never be less,
That the days of thy lot may be lengthened below,
And the fame of thy worth like a pumpkin-vine grow,
And thy life be as sweet, and its last sunset sky
Golden-tinted and fair as thy own Pumpkin pie.

The song brings goosebumps to me as the song within it's own does seemingly represent that of a country I know.

God Bless America

Factoring it in and out...

There are times since the beginning of being on here – I have had a problem. I found that within this last year I had to push to be more social than anti social. I think that most are on this in a variety of meanings – some it’s more no challenge. I can relate with this and then there is some, which are dependant on those of which they have as friends. I have been hit with something. This area of anger and all. It’s an underlying factor yet I myself am a determined one and I am not on here as much as I was before yet I honestly do enjoy the variance and thought of which ever those with a premise of – no betterment, yet more understanding from both sides. As like the movie “Man on Fire” which was made by Denzel Washington. I may reset, as I seemingly need to for part of the day as I am seeing too much on death and negatives.

I am there yet I had to take a time out with many of my own factors that I did not miss the Forrest from the trees. I know where my pinpoints within life are. And the best service I can do right now with this knee pain is just taking a rest.

You would think I was 65 yet I am not. Yet this has nothing to do with friends on Muliply although one can see those which are so arrogant and narassistic. But I am not the one to mention as I am merely a "P member".

Thus it is as I do need to take a rest...

After the Storm

The day came to be that of a much milder one. I decided to go to one area that I have never been. As there are so many areas, which I have been too within this city and here it was most enjoyable.

The temperatures came down and from one friend which works within the medical to another new friend, which I had me while upon a winter morning, hike there was enjoyment within this new trail. Mind you I realized that so many are within different shifts, retired, and so forth and I think that today was the first day that so many did head out prepared for the weather.

As mentioned before, "Seize the Smiles as they are worth the three months of winter".

And they were.

What If

Vantages 2009 (20)

What if?

What we were within a merse of many

What if we were within a congregation of many

What if each and everyone had a regard to the other

What if all people were just people regardless of creed or color

What if we just understood that of which is

What if we had a regard to everyone

What if we all just were and are

What if we rendered an understanding

What if there there was more peace and less malice

What if there was a bond

What if there was not a need to judge

What if we were younger

What if we were older

What if you had one day to live

What if heresay was nosay

What if all cultures collaborated

What if, if there was no music

What if there was no love

Cold as Can Be

A morning venture out into the yonder and from the outskirts to the riverside and so forth it was and is very cold for this time of the year.

Cold To The Bone

Most often we have this type of cold weather in late December and January and this year it's all came about in an atypical way. I am not much for the layering of clothes just to get from one place to another. Yet hopefully the weather or at least the sun may come out as the combination of both do not only hit the immune system but as well. These days of less sunshine combined with record low temperatures for this time of the year does make it for a tedious time.

That term, " COLD TO THE BONE ", DOES APPLY.  And yet you will see some people which dress as if it's much warmer but I guess it all depends on your immune system. As it seems like just yesterday where there was no problem with the cold and yet I will say that it can be dibilitating at times. Each morning I take a tylenol extra strength just to cut the edge of the aches.

Sunday's are easy yet I would much rather have the green than the white.

~ The Threshold ~

There is a threshold moment in some of our choices, and especially in some of our judgments about people. Sometimes that moment is experienced by a whole lot of us at once.

I note that down south, and just over the last few days, very many people are suddenly discovering that Newt Gringrich is looking really good that he’s a smart, informed and credible candidate for the Republican nomination. A few months ago, his campaign was a wreck and he was a write-off. His best handlers had departed to Perry. There were some gossipy stories he could have done without. Tales of his arrogance and poor judgment were rife. Now, this week, it’s “Can Newt carry it all the way?” Dorothy Rabinowitz, the whip sharp observer of The Wall Street Journal, writes a full column on Gingrich’s virtues.

Stupidity if you ask me, the media savvy blog which some of these politicians place out. And it just arises the same very questions as before. He’s no longer the eccentric wonk, with a loose handle on his private life, that many have seen him as since he left the Speakers’ chair in those long ago days during the fight over Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Wasn’t that a blunder? It’s the moment everyone well, a lot of people are giving Gingrich a second look, and liking what they see. I don’t see what I like as he nearly had Clinton impeached and if that as the best as they get well I might as well find what this so used word of ridiculous really means. Wake up America, wake up to that there are merits that are worth understanding rather than what we find to be of important. Important has anyone really considered that term?

There is a similar moment up here, and in our case it’s Bob Rae who is its beneficiary. Some months back his taking up the cause of the battered, ragged and demoralized Liberal party looked either to be a profound dip into the waters of masochism, or one of the few selfless acts Canadian politics has seen in a while. He once was major of Toronto yet he too has flaws. Ironic as it seems the Prime Minister coupled with Brad Wall of Saskatchewan have come to watch and learn and then understand what is and what is not important within this venue of which we call leadership.

Rae the twice passed over once for Dion, once for Ignatieff took on the arduous and wearying task. And slowly but surely, after a trip there, a speech here, a release on some issue or a statement in the Commons, any number of people are now more than willing to acknowledge that he’s the guy the Liberals need not just for this task of rebuilding, but after that. It’s hard to hear at all now the once inescapable criticism that after “ruining” Ontario Rae could never be a real national leader. Now, to be sure, Rae is gaining some of his traction by NDP default. The NDP have left the leadership of the Opposition in the hands of a Commons amateur. Almost everyone who is anyone in the NDP is on the interminable leadership trail. The clash absorbs all the attention people are giving to the party, inside the Commons or out.

The result? Bob Rae has most of the stage to him, and owns the Commons in Canada from an opposition perspective when he wants to he is much aside of all the propaganda much like former Bill Clinton, yet he still has a far ways to go, I recall meeting him while in Toronto and the image was good. Is image something, which influences our thoughts? As Prime Minister Harper sits back and as like a few leaders which came from western Canada he does not conform to appease the populous. The New Democratic Party (I am not sure why they call it new) in Canada gave an opportunity to grow, at the precise moment the Liberals were at their most vulnerable. It will be an irony for the ages if the NDP leadership contest comes to be looked at as the period the Liberals recovered.

Should Rae continue his even pace, continue to take advantage of the shelter the NDP leadership race is giving him and the party, the time may come two years out when the Liberals hold their contest that despite the assurances that he was only acting as an interim leader the rank and file will have so accustomed themselves to Rae and his way of leading, he will be the natural choice. Certainly, if there’s any virtue in the idea that people should get what they work for, Rae will have a larger claim on the Liberal leadership than anyone else. Yet much like President Obama, Prime Minister Harper just listens and observes.

For myself, sure there are areas of which Canada has to trend up with yet Harper has already created so many alliances as well as bought a new fleet of jets. He is not dumb he is admirable as for Brad Wall whom many never thought would even get to the destination of which he has rendered. With or without Bob Rae, eastern Canada shall continue in the manner that has been that which has solidified almost one nations economy to it’s very up most.

I don’t pretend to know it all, as I don’t. Yet within my province of Canada and within Canada we have waived being owned by China. No other country owns Canada. That I believe is good work on behalf of the Prime Minister of Canada. As a few countries now are literally owned by China.

Brad Wall

Nor shall we…

I never took to parties when I was asked upon my return to Canada. I have several friends, which did. Yet it’s not for the like of me. As within some caveat I would be fired within some manner. If I were within a political position, I would look to make some pact or technology where the weather was far warmer than what it is. But they never asked me. Yet they did ask my uncle whom served as Governor General in Canada.

Yet ironically the Brad has done very well as he to has listened. And never within the history of Canada would Saskatchewan be a leader within not just a province but a leader within Canada along with the federal government. We owe nothing yet.

There is something to be said within this - I do believe.

Music Just Does

Within the eve everyone is within thier own homes nestled and some are watchin movies and some are enjoying things upon the "Net". So I don't wish to intrude but place in a little music and maybe some comedy.

Hence again after a long day there is that area of music of which we all do enjoy and each and everyone has sounds and vibrations within it all. I hope I don't repeat myself as I just enjoy sharing some music within the weekend. As I remember within the 4th grade my music teacher told the entire class that music DOES MAKE THE WORLD GO AROUND.

The Fruits of Life

Let’s end the week with some sage old words of wisdom that are worth repeating and pondering from time to time. If I may...

For example, there are two theories to arguing with women. Basically neither one works. It's just that simple.

Before criticizing someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.  If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

If you think nobody cares if you’re alive, try missing a couple of car payments. Or any bank payments of which are not to be missed!

Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. It does give new meaning with ice fishing but it all goes the same way.

Be careful when reading the fine print, as there’s no way you’re going to like it.

Good judgment comes from bad experiences, and a lot of those experiences come from bad judgment. As we learn from mistakes which renders the good things within life - that is aside of the cold.

Generally speaking, you aren’t learning much when your mouth is moving. In effect, never miss a good chance to shut up.  If you don’t have a sense of humor, you probably don’t have any sense at all. Makes sense most probably.

I'll close with this time honored saying:

"Always be yourself because the people who matter won’t mind and the people who mind don’t matter."

“Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead.  Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow.  Do not walk beside me, either, and try to be my friend.

This Chelsea - she is smart.

I do love to watch CNN within the eve and this Chelsea which was on Piers Morgans program last night was most interesting. Sure she makes allot of money but what I like is that she says it as it is. She has no reservations and some people you just no are not fake.

I don't know the history of this lady but of what I listened to last night along with as well Jesse Ventura which was on the program first. I was amazed with the manner of which she could express herself. Obviously she is doing well but I believe there is much more to this gal. The areas of which they covered were so interesting. Actually both Jesse and Chelsea which followed were tremendously interesting and I do believe that Piers has a find show going on there as it's different from the spin. As both of them placed it of which I was going to write the other day in my own words. "The propoganda can be so depressing now from poli-drama to sports."

I know that Piers Morgan originally came from England - but the questions of which he asks and the manners of which he does is becoming. Chelsea seemingly could answer straight on. Why is that - I can't tell ya but last night show combined with former Govenor Jesse Ventura - did make for a great show.

What I like is the manner of the questions within good spirit as well as the answers that come from those which you can tell there is no show nor no put on. I do love the Piers Morgan Show.

It certainly beats Jeapordy or those fabro reality shows. I would much rather watch Cornation Street. Actually it isnt that bad well. And then there is the Scot that comes on within the after hours of David Letterman and he so reminds me of my cousin and the manner of his humor. I am not much of a television person but come winter it's nice to get under the quilts and just lay back and listen.

I don't wish to keep on this yet last night it was very insightful.

Chelsea Handler certainly not only seems to be smart, she knows what she says and I think because she does not waffle I was watching her on Piers Morgan last night and she struck me as being brilliant.

After The Storm

Well last night I knew we were going to get hit with a storm but not the manner of which it did hit. This morning everyone was out shovelling snow and ice. There is nothing more fun than shovelling snow when it seems that just yesterday was not there came in like a lion. Yes there is nothing like shovelling snow and ice and then coming in all wet and jumping in the shower. This is not a stylish time of the year as most often we get the cold but we don't get the wet type of snowy winter.

I must have 10 different parkas as well and seven different boots when this all happens as it certainly did come in like a lion and I do hope that this winter goes out like a lamb. As this "lion" of winter came in fast so much for the neighbor who was blowing away snow last night as what came thereafter was probably two feet within the wind drifts.

The main thing is to keep warm and forget about what your wearing. Yet there will always be some which say, "Well you know it could still warm up". But this one is here to stay and the main things is in dressing up accordingly. Three months from now spring shall return and back to sandals, sneakers and all that goes with it.

The tow truck companies and taxis companies must be happier as this I would imagine is their first big gem of a fiscal day. All due to one nights storm. Lets hope it's one and only one for a while.

Tomorrow is Friday and for some it alread is and wish you a good one regardless of the season - "Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall"....yet the Palms would be nice. :)

Warmth in the Keepers Den

We are just in the midst of a very cold blizzard as I went and had the car winterized and nearly all windows are enforced as this is a year which is not going to be sleeping with the cold that penetrates some of the windows. As well, the car is winterized and the plugs are all out as of tonight it's going to be one of those plug - in times in order to keep the block heater of the car warm and yes it is the time were it is winter now and everything is said and done. From the indoors to the outdoors.

Three months of this and then it's comes the warm but between now and then winter is flexing it's muscle in a temperant dry cold. As here it starts of damp and then goes right into a very dry cold. Actually the dry cold is alright but the term between this is what probably is the most tedious - no cold not tedious.

There is nothing like having your block heater to you engine plugged in along with an inside heater. Warm is the trend now at least for a while as in this part of Canada it does get cold.

Manny Pacquiao - He stings like a Bee and Floats like a Butterfly

~ Stings Like a Bee but Foats Like a Butterfly ~

Manny Pacquiao is some sort of athlete who would ever think that he would be
at the top of the top within his weight division. I must admit that this man is one
that is sensational. He is not average yet he is the best and the most agile boxer.

I have seen since the days of Sugar Ray or he could very well be a litter Mohammad
Ali.

I have been out for a good portion of the day but this athlete has not only been
trained. He has an integrity it seems. I recall being enthused be Mohammad Ali as well as Sugar Ray Leonard and then there was a few others but this one seems to drum to a different beat.
I myself hope he wins. And if he doesn’t so be it – he has done something like no other from where he comes from.

They say he may run for governor when he hits 40 who knows?

Of the days in which I have lived half my life within Canada yesterday was one which rendered what is Canada. There is this thought of the "new" Canada in comparison to that of the old. I have alway been a believer that
Canada never had a definition. Canada from all the provinces of which I have been travelled are a marvel within their own way.

Canada is a country which is second to the largest within the world next to China and yes Canada is humble yet Canada does stand proud as from the encounters of which I have had and especially of recent.

I do see Canada as a blend and still one of the most feesable economically within the world.

Thus Canada is a country of a blend of the old and the new. With no necessities.

That Moment of Silence

Yesterday from early within the morning to nearing the eve I knew I was going to take part within this Rembrance Day Service. Fortunately I was given a VP pass which gives you allowance to every part of what is known as TCU Centre.

When I arrived there it was much different than the time I had before as I just walked in while the cermonies had already began. Greg a good friend of mine which works for the newspaper here was there as I was going in one direction and he was going his own way but we did take the time to talk about how many have come out as we were both amazed with the amount of people which had shown up. Literally it's the largest indoor ceremony within Canada as this year there were nearly 70,000 thousand which had attended and to see them all.

Many find this day to be one which is a sad time. I feel that it's a tribute time and occassion. The men as well as women that I ran into and had  not seen in a long time was great. As well, there was this old "bagpiper" which ask me to place on his pins. To then the thoughts of five different faiths - all with a messages which really gave much meaning to the "Day".

After all was finished I was asked to join a few officers within get together down at the Navy Mess and that was an experience as it was a enjoyable time some with had just came back from duty and were pleased to catch up with their friends. One major mentioned to me, " it's hard to really consider yourself a veteran, just because one tends to think of them as older people."

All in all I found the entire ceremony to be that of meaning as well as ironically seeing some very enjoyable people. Yet I do know what the premise of Rembrance and Veterans Day is. It's something of which we hope or I hope we never forget those which have and are serving for the very rights of freedom. For without them we certainly would not have the freedoms of which we do have.

When all came to a two minute silence which goes hand in hand with the tradition of how Remberance ceremonies are done throughout all crown countries. One could not hear a sound within this auditorium of nearly 70,000 thousand people. And then came that proud feel the glow of the heart and soul as everyone within the place just went into a tremendous commencement of clapping.

From Silence to Elation was my experience on the eleventh day of the eleventh month within the eleventh year of two thousand.

Lest We Forget

Today, we honour generations of brave Canadian men and women in uniform who have fought to defend our country and to promote and protect the values of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. Canadians have always stood ready to defend their country and in the last century nearly two million have served in two World Wars, Korea, Afghanistan, Libya and various other conflict zones. Sadly, we also remember those who, in doing so, have paid the ultimate price with their lives.

I had attended within the ceremonies here which are the largest within an enclosed area within all of Canada. After the ceremony I was invited to join with a regime within an officers mess. There we so many stories of those of which I had the opportunity to sit down with and just talk. For some it is a traditional service of which is to pay tribute. The crowd surpassed 86,000 thousand people and we don’t for get and I believe myself believe there is something to be said for those of whom have done service. As mentioned by the Prime Minister of Canada in Ottawa he mentioned about the values, which make up this country. Be it home or abroad. As within the Canadian Armed Forces the mandate has always been through peaceful missions as well within the past combat had come to be a necessity.

The unparalleled spirit, skills and devotion of the members of the Canadian Armed Forces have always been exemplary. Yet there are no words to express the gratitude to those men and women, which have placed their interests aside for the very right of freedom and security.

Hence, as the saying of years ago still prevail within a term which does give meaning to the respect of those in service and those which had been in services.

From Last Year - Within Flander's Field - Rememberance Day

The reason for this holiday is not to be forgotten. It was at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the year 1918 that the guns went silent to end what history terms the Great War, World War 1. Remembrance Day continues to be held in honour of our veterans. Not just the 1914-1918 conflict but also World War II, the Korean War, and the veterans of Canada’s overseas roles in places like Bosnia, Rwanda, and Afghanistan. Let’s not forget either the events of September 11th, 2001 which reminded us that evil still exists in the world and there are those who would like to see our way of life destroyed and then rebuilt according to their barbaric and antiquated perception of how a male dominated, women subjugated, tyrannically religious society should function. Many of us wear red poppies at this time of year, the lasting symbol of November 11th. Tomorrow, the thinning ranks of veterans will don their uniforms and attend ceremonies to remind us of what they fought for, and what many of their comrades died for, which was to preserve our way of life; the rights and freedoms we enjoy to this day. We live in a land of relative freedom and prosperity compared to almost anywhere else on earth you could name.

Honoring those that have served isn’t just another day off to sleep in but rather to pause and reflect that there was a price to be paid for our freedom.

Lest we forget.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are several stories I could share however it's a tad of a brain drain but I thought I would place in here a poem called In Flanders Field.

The poem "In Flanders Fields" by the Canadian army physician John McCrae remains to this day one of the most memorable war poems ever written. It is a lasting legacy of the terrible battle in the Ypres salient in the spring of 1915.The most asked question is: why poppies? Wild poppies flower when other plants in their direct neighborhood are dead. Their seeds can lie on the ground for years and years, but only when there are no more competing flowers or shrubs in the vicinity (for instance when someone firmly roots up the ground), these seeds will sprout. There was enough rooted up soil on the battlefield of the Western Front; in fact the whole front consisted of churned up soil.

So in May 1915, when McCrae wrote his poem, around him blooded poppies blossomed like no one had ever seen before. But in this poem the poppy plays one more role.
The poppy is known as a symbol of sleep. Some kinds of poppies are used to derive opium from, from which morphine is made. Morphine is one of the strongest painkillers and was often used to put a wounded soldier to sleep. Sometimes medical
Doctors used it in a higher dose to put the incurable wounded out of their misery.
'In Flanders Fields' is also the name of an American War Cemetery in Belgium where 368 Americans are buried. The cemetery got its name from the poem though. The bronze foot of the flagstaff is decorated with daisies and poppies.
Another reference to the poem can be found on the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy, in Northern France. Between the pylons stands ‘The Spirit of Sacrifice’: a figure holding high a burning torch, obviously referring to the last verse of McCrae's poem.’ In Flanders Fields' may be the most famous poem of the Great War — sometimes only the first two verses are cited or printed. This is not just because of the lack of quality in the third verse, but also because this last verse speaks of an unending quarrels with the foe. And if one thing became clear during the Great War it was this: there was no quarrel between the soldiers (except maybe in the heat of a fight). The quarrel existed mainly in the minds of stupid politicians and generals who mostly never experienced the horror of the battlefield.
But McCrae was not opposed to war and this was not the first time he spoke of a continuing fight. Wars should go on, he thought, until all the wrongs of the earth are righted. In some countries authorities were so pleased with the pugnacious sentiments in the third verse of 'In Flanders Fields' that they exploited these lines in their propaganda. Since then the now widespread custom to honour with poppies those who died so that we could be free, has been, and still is, used and misused to justify wars.
Nevertheless I will give you the full and exact version of McCrae's great poem, taken from his own, handwritten copy. But first, here is the story of how he wrote it — and how the recent death of a dear friend moved him.
The next evening the poem was wrote by McCrae while sitting on the rear step of an ambulance parked near the dressing station beside the Yser Canal, just a few hundred yards north of Ypres, McCrae vented his anguish by composing a poem. The major was no stranger to writing, having authored several medical texts besides dabbling in poetry.
As McCrae sat there he heard larks singing and he could see the wild poppies that sprang up from the ditches and the graves in front of him.

He spent twenty minutes of precious rest time scribbling fifteen lines of verse in a notebook. The poem originally entitled, "We shall not sleep" was very nearly not published.
Dissatisfied with it, McCrae tossed the poem away, but Morrison retrieved it and sent it to newspapers in England.

In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Freedom....

With Remembrance Day on the horizon, Canadians are looking to express appreciation for the country’s veterans, perhaps hoping to don war medals earned by their deceased relatives. But this last week, many Canadians learned that a little-known law actually forbids that gesture of respect and tribute. Article 419 of the Criminal Code of Canada prohibits “the wearing of orders, decorations and medals by anyone other than the individual who was awarded the honour.” Within a few years we’re going to have a large amount of medals that were awarded to Canadians, including the Victoria Cross, that no one can display.’ Jeff Rose Martland, executive director of veterans group Our duty Jeff Rose-Martland, executive director of the Canadian veterans group Our Duty, says his constituency generally opposes the idea of people wearing the medal of a living veteran. When it comes to deceased veterans, it’s been pretty universal. I myself believe that medals suggested the medals could be put in a small display case and carried at Remembrance Day services rather than being worn when and if a family feels it just.

The law came to light after Our Duty announced a campaign called “Veterans Among Us”. which sought to raise awareness of Canada’s 900,000 veterans. While fielding questions about war medals, Our Duty learned of the 91 year old statute prohibiting someone else from wearing of medals received by living or deceased veterans. The organization promptly issued a release advising its constituents not to wear the medals of family members, as the act would be a criminal offence. Introduced in 1920, the statute was largely intended to deter people from impersonating returning war veterans, who were entitled to benefits and incentives (like jobs) in the years after service. The statute does not set out a specific penalty, but for summary conviction offences, the penalty is a maximum of six months imprisonment as well as a $ 5,000.00 dollar fine.

Commonwealth nations like Great Britain and Australia have similar restrictions on wearing the medals of a living veteran. The consequences are fines or up to six months in jail. But both countries relax the law if the veteran is deceased.  Our Duty would like to have the Canadian law amended. Over the last few decades, there have been backbench motions to change the statute, but they were quickly voted down. Ultimately there is a warranted concerned that this old law stands in the way of giving veterans their proper due of respect while at the same time not forgetting the history of those which have served – mind you many veterans which pass on most often which to be buried with their full attire along with their medals of which they earned while serving.

As we approach a hundred years past the end of World War I. We don’t have any Great War veterans left, the World War II veterans are passing, and within a few years we’re going to have a large amount of medals that were awarded to Canadians, including the Victoria Cross, that no one can display – I would tend to think that it’s an adaptation within how we handle the manner in which we respect those of which  have served.

Here Comes the Sun

Within the morning I went for a dressed up and decided to capture one of my favorite areas. I love when the sun rises to a certain angle within the morning, the reflexions which come in a manner, which is most enjoyable. For myself I always look for that capture from an angle and the silhouettes - when I returned back to my car. While warming up I will always turn on the camera and look and I adored these.

Sometimes it's surprising what one can render. Hence "Here Come the Sun".

Freedom 2

Low and behold it did snow and what a tedious situation but one for adaptations. The "white stuff" does look so nice yet there are no doubts in all that comes along with it as here we are a rather cold climate. Again I say it as I often have as I don't mind the seasons but I don't fancy the climate of cold combined with snow.

I don't think I have for that matter. Note I do not have a lady friend and I am not look for one at this time. I wish to forge ahead within my own endeavors. I thought that might be significiant within this time as well I do look forward to (as mentioned writes of what we call remberance day as well as the memorial and respect to those whom granted our very rights within ...... FREEDOM.

Yet on does keep warm and enjoy history upon this turning point as we don't just move the clocks by we sychronized within time.

It's great getting an egg mcmuffin within the midst of the .......cold. :)

Well it did decide to finally do the "S" word and it had snowed.

Thursday, November 3, 2011

I have never been able to merge post and I took a few and with regards to that area of then and now. As yesterday does shape our tomorrows.

FREEDOM

We are approaching a time within history of which today I was fortunte to speak with a person with regards to what Rememberance Day and Memorial Day stand for. There has always been this ideal of never to forget.

Had done some writings prior on history in a manner which there is a service there is meaning come November 11 we don't look at things within a negative manner yet we do pay respect to those whom have rendered our freedoms. Freedom is a commodity where until you don't have it you don't know what you do have. Within all democracies freedom is something different to each person. Freedom is the ability to be able to be free and I do look forward to writing more on this as FREEDOM is something we so often take for grantide. When you sit and listen to an older man or lady whom has been throught WW2 - it does really come to be a reality check. I do look forward to writing on Freedom as I have uncled from both side of the family which served without the need of a draft.

Some shall say that war is a disservice to FREEDOM. Yet when you speak to those whom have played a role to allow FREEDOM. You gain an understanding of what they did and went through - and what came about was the FREEDOM of which you and I have.

Free is not a commodity really it's the world of which we reside and only granted by the means of those which did service to enable our very rights and freedoms. FREE we often think of what this word means I know what FREE means for myself - yet if I may what does FREEDOM mean to you?

Action Speaks Louder than Words

I had rambled on. I do have a sister, which is so in need of help. There is the trickle up effect with those, which are of a meaning of which they do go forward. Myself as well.
There is nothing like one, which is, protected which gets in via the back door and the only manner of which she has is beyond me. I can't begin to explain it I just look beyond it but there is a time to understand when to there is a need to take action. As I again shall. And I have no reservations.

Over a duration of ten years and hospitalized with a fixation on myself. I don’t know how she gets away with it within a system as such. Maybe the folks protect her and I have never taken a picture of her, as it is abuse. I don’t speak much of abuse yet even with my cousin whom now is home and safe. She hates him as Delvin once listened to her and then spoke his mind. Along with so many other including my other cousins as well as others.

I know she is not well and she may never be well – but the manner of which she can turn from a Jekyl to Hyde and yet in her own mind thinks she is a saint. For the most part I have learned to turn her off. But it’s not an easy thing as she found out where I was working and it’s reminds me of when I needed to move for my own sake of well being.

This time I will not come close to having a nearly a mild stroke as I had before. I spent a good portion of my day speaking with the owner of this recording studio – he knew exactly how things of such can happen and ironically there is no advice except gets away.
My apologies to those whom may have been offended until you have been within the shoes of another – that is the time where you do find what things within family can do.

As I am not married to my sister but I will say that he is the most spoiled brat. With her health she can go so fast from one manner to another. Most often I find that it’s all within her own world of what she can do. I live in and within my own fashion. I don’t look to bring others down to do my life – we all have stressors. But when you have an antagonist as such the best merit is to make the right calls and make the right decisions.

I am not living my life to tend to the compounded situations within my family now – nor should I. Delvin now is at home which is nearly four hours from here and I listened part of the day to what brings on strokes or mini strokes. That shall not happen pertaining one of my siblings. In no way shape or form.

Over a prolonged duration it can or abuse as such regardless of where it comes from can have an impact on your own well being. I learned the hard way but this is coming to an end. Now as I don't have the time for it - nor would you.

Within all my travels and pursuits if I had thought what others thought I would not have accomplished half of them. Within the travels and pursuits of now and the future I still see it really the very same way. There are the ones which opt to pull you down for what ever reason and there are those which bring you up in a manner which coincides with that of the manner of my own. "There are two choices within life - positive or negative. It really comes down to basically that." `jgs

Let it Be and Welcome to November ONE

Picture 139

It's the first of November - It's so hard to believe this may be due to the fact that we have not had any snow here as of yet. My cousin is safe and in good hand here as he arrived back into Canada this morning. That was one area of which I did have much to think about but it's good to know now he is within good hands. And there is nothing like being back home - I know for Delvin that would be a priority. So he is at home and I do wish the best for him.

Here althought we don't have the white stuff yet - it is cold. It's that cold that come at this time of the year where you just tend to it and some are more apt to be able to do so. This morning when I was watching the weather and what I saw all along the eastern seaboard was unbelieveable as within 100 years there has never been winter within New York till December really. Maybe there is something to this climate change and the ozone depreciation.

It's been a long day to say the least. The harvest is now done and it's a time where one just renders the time - the time of keeping warm. Ironically there is no snow yet there is that cold which chills down to the bone. Warm this is that time of which I think of the palm trees and the warmth that is within other places. I can see know why many mamals do go into that hibernation period and wake up to the spring. Yet there is something to be said with regards to the elements of weather. But I would much prefer that it was of another nature one which was warmer perhaps.

I have been working hard on a few songs and come this weekend they shall be all done as Sandy put it. So I do hope he is right and until then I love to keep warm within the eves that is. But with all going well I do hope that some of this music I shall be able to post on here this coming weekend.

Lets See and for now Let it Be...

A Little Bit of This And That

Most all were taken today with the exception of a few. Welcome to November 01 in a time of which we think and format that of which we do. In just a few days there shall be that time of which we pay honor
to those of which have served to enable freedom.

Maybe a commodity which we have forgotten - and maybe not. There are the colors of the two flags of which have so much within common yet we are within commonalities as if not we would not write.

I have been working as well as making something within music for November 11 and as well for the fun within things. It's began to get cold - ironically no snow yet.

So this is simply a little bit of this and that.
